Rakhi Sawant is one of the most famous celebrities in India, and she often makes it to the headlines with her unique statements. She began her career in 1997, and since then, the actress has worked in several music videos, dance numbers, films, and reality TV shows. Rakhi became a household name with her stint in multiple seasons of Bigg Boss. Rakhi allegedly traveled to Pakistan and recently revealed that she has been planning to marry for a third time with Pakistani model-actor, Dodi Khan. But his latest reaction to the news has made fans angry.

Dodi Khan refuses to marry Rakhi, leaves her 'heartbroken' 

Rakhi Sawant has gained a lot of attention for her dramatic love life and the news about her marriage with Dodi left fans excited. But, in the late hours of January 30, 2025, Dodi shared a collaborative post with a video on his Instagram handle to clarify his decision of marrying Rakhi Sawant. He mentioned that he met her some time ago and finds her to be a kind-hearted girl, but he cannot marry her. In his words:

"I proposed to her because I know her very well. When I started knowing her, I felt she is a person who loves god a lot."

The fitness influencer-actor explained that he admires Rakhi for bravely facing difficult challenges in life like her mother's death. But, when their wedding plans were announced, he received messages from people asking him to change his mind. So, Dodi stated that he wouldn't marry but would ensure Rakhi became the daughter-in-law of Pakistan by getting her married to one of his brothers. Rakhi reacted to the video in the comments section by dropping teary-eyed and broken-heart emojis.

Netizens criticise Dodi Khan for using Rakhi Sawant to gain fame 

When Dodi Khan shared the video on his Instagram handle, Rakhi's fans quickly reacted, expressing their anger at his decision. Some fans called it a drama, while others accused him of using Rakhi to gain fame. One user wrote, "Pehle bina soche propose kyu Kiya?." Another fan penned, "Sabko famous hona hai". One netizen asked whether he used her for popularity and commented, "Mashoor hone ke liye kia tha yeh sab drama"? 

Rakhi Sawant announced her decision to get married in Pakistan 

Earlier, Rakhi Sawant sat down for an interview with Etimes and mentioned that she was getting a lot of proposals for marriage after people got to know she was harassed by her former husband, Adil Durrani. Also, when she visited Pakistan, she decided to select a groom from the neighboring country and met Dodi. The Bigg Boss 14 contestant highlighted that she will get married according to Islamic traditions, and the reception will take place in India. She also revealed that they would settle in Dubai after their marriage. Later, Dodi shared a video on his Instagram handle teasing her where he should take his baarat, in India or Dubai, that had left the fans delighted.
