Rashmika Mandanna And Vijay Deverakonda's Wedding, Couple Got Teary Eyed During The Varmala Ritual

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are finally married. The duo had a traditional Andhra-style wedding in the morning and is all set to have a Kodava wedding to honour Rashmika’s roots. The duo tied the knot in a traditional Andhra wedding at the ITC Mementoes hotel in Udaipur.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have guarded their relationship from the public for a very long time. This is one of the main reasons that the couple didn’t have a no-phone policy during their wedding rituals, as they wanted to enjoy each and every moment of it. However, a source present at the wedding ceremony revealed that Rashmika and Vijay turned emotional during their varmala ceremony. As per the source:

“It was the most emotional moment of the wedding. As Rashmika and Vijay exchanged garlands, both of them got teary-eyed. It truly meant everything to them.”

It is reported that Rashmika and Vijay will have an intimate wedding ceremony but will host a grand reception for their industry friends. A report by The Times of India states that Rashmika and Vijay have ensured that their wedding in Udaipur strictly remains a private affair. There will be no media and also a no-phone policy during the ceremonies.

Guests won't be allowed to bring their phones, cameras, or any recording devices to the wedding venue, which has yet to be revealed. The report further stated that Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda will be holding a special meet-and-greet session with the paps. The couple is likely to share their wedding pictures with the paps officially once the ceremonies are over.

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s love story

Ever since Rashmika and Vijay starred opposite each other in superhits like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, rumours about their affair had started doing the rounds. Although neither Rashmika nor Vijay has addressed these rumours, their cute camaraderie suggested they were head over heels in love. In October 2025, rumour mills had it that the couple had secretly got engaged in an intimate ceremony and would soon tie the knot. In January 2026, reports said the lovebirds were set to marry on February 26, 2026, with the ceremony taking place in Udaipur.

After years of denial, on February 22, 2026, Rashmika took to her IG handle and posted a note for her fans, who have been rooting for her and Vijay. She announced her wedding with the hashtag 'VIROSH', which had been given to the couple by their fans. Her note can be read as:

“Our Dearest loves, before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves, you were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us ‘VIROSH’. So today — with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to name it —‘The Wedding of VIROSH’.”
