Ravi Mohan Claims He Was 'Abused' After Wife, Aarti Slammed Him For Avoiding Duties, 'Was Caged..'

All eyes in Kollywood have turned towards PS1 actor, Ravi Mohan, who has been the centre of attention amid his feud with his estranged wife, Aarti Ravi, and relationship rumours with alleged girlfriend, Keneeshaa Francis. The issue came under the spotlight after Ravi recently made a joint appearance with Keneeshaa in matching outfits at a wedding. As the internet was once again ablaze with rumours about their relationship, his estranged wife, Aarti, shared a long note to share her side of the story. She called out Ravi for ignoring his emotional and financial responsibilities towards their sons. In turn, the latter shared some cryptic posts, taking a dig at Aarti for being a 'chaotic energy' in Ravi's life. After staying silent through all of this, Ravi finally shared a long note, breaking his silence over the same.

Ravi Mohan reveals Aarti and her family stripped him of money and dignity 

Ravi Mohan recently took to his Instagram handle and shared a long note, calling it his first and last statement on the matter. He shared that his silence over the controversy related to his personal life was not his weakness but a means of survival. Clapping back to his estranged wife, Aarti's claims of ignoring his financial responsibilities, Ravi revealed that he has never shied away from his responsibilities and tried to accommodate all the financial responsibilities of Aarti, their sons and her parents to the extent that he didn't give a single penny to his family for five years. He called himself a survivor of Physical, mental and financial abuse, claiming that the industry people, his family, friends and many others know the reality. In his words:

"As an adult and as a survivor of years of physical, mental, emotional and severe financial abuse, (sad to add) I was also caged in isolation from ever meeting my own parents through these years, trapped in a reality that became unbearable despite every sincere attempt to heal and save my marriage. I finally found the strength to walk away from a life that had become unlivable."

He also mentioned that Aarti hampered his bond with his parents while he was trying to afford the lavish lifestyle of Aarti and her parents, where he paid for their loans which has brought him under a financial crunch. Ravi specifically pointed out that he recently decided not to pay Aarti because he is not sure if the money is going to his sons or not. At the same time, he decided to end his marriage. The actor also pointed out that they are forcing him to pay for their loans, keeping him away from his sons, and falsely creating PR narratives against him for revenge. Sharing how he isn't allowed to meet his sons, Ravi penned: 

"What breaks me most is seeing my children used as tools in a public narrative rooted in financial gain and to sway public sympathy while I've been deliberately kept away from them since our separation. Apart from a single court-mandated meeting last Christmas, all our communication has been gradual but a well-structured cut-off. Bouncers now accompany them almost everywhere to prevent me from ever seeing or approaching my own children, and you guys question my role as a father?"

Ravi Mohan clarifies that Keneeshaa Francis is not a 'home wrecker'

In the same statement, Ravi called out the negativity being spread against Keneeshaa and mentioned that she isn't a home wrecker. He revealed that she is his friend who helped him after he left his home at night without a single penny and has been helping him gain confidence to fight the battles which lie ahead for him. Acknowledging that she is a therapist and singer, Ravi clarified that no one can be a home wrecker of a broken home, and she is silent due to the professional NDA, which plays a significant role in her profession.

What claims did Aarti Ravi make against Ravi Mohan? 

Aarti earlier claimed that she wasn't consulted before Ravi announced their separation from her and had been silent since then. She claimed that her husband, Ravi, has not given her or their two sons any sort of financial support; rather, he made the bank send an eviction notice for their home to her. Plus, she shared that despite keeping love above money in her 15-year-long marriage, she was called a 'gold digger'. Calling out Ravi's joint appearance with Keneeshaa in one excerpt of the note, she wrote:

"Today, while the world sees carefully curated appearances and photo captions, our reality is very different. My divorce is still ongoing. But the man I once stood beside for 18 years- in love, loyalty and belief- has not just walked away from me- but from the very responsibilities he once promised to honour."
