Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Netflix series, Heeramandi has been making headlines ever since it was released on the OTT platform. From India to Pakistan, everyone has been loving the series and the portrayal of the strong characters, but there are some who are unhappy with the director's romanticism with courtesan culture. Amidst divided opinions, a video of Sanjay Leela Bhansali moving aside one of the leading ladies of the film, Richa Chadha, to highlight his niece, Sharmin Segal, received a lot of flak.
Recently, in an interview with IMDb, Richa Chadha was seen roasting Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece, Sharmin Segal. It all started after Sharmin claimed that she was a great chef. Yes, when Sharmin stated that she knew cooking, Richa was left surprised. To which, Sharmin stated that the salad they ate in the morning was prepared by her. Pulling her leg, Richa asked Sharmin if she had cut the vegetable and did slow claps.

To prove her claim, Sharmin added that she cooks amazing food and has been cooking proper Christmas lunches. Richa then quipped:
"I don’t think you and I should sit next to each other."
In a viral view, the cast of Heeramandi was posing with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who was seen giving a side hug to his niece, Sharmin. As soon as Richa was leaving, they called them back, and Richa was seen greeting SLB when he tried to move her aside to give centre stage to Sharmin. One could clearly see Richa's face dropping, and she kept looking at them.
