Just before the Test series started, Rohit Sharma had broken hearts by announcing his retirement from Test cricket, which made this appearance even more special. Just when Yashasvi Jaiswal and Akash Deep were playing strongly and built an amazing partnership, cameras caught a relaxed Rohit Sharma in the stands and that moment didn't go unnoticed. Fans loved that little clip of the 'Hitman'.

Rohit Sharma's cricket journey began at a young age in Mumbai. He made his international debut in 2007, in an ODI against Ireland, but he gained recognition by his powerful performance in the 2007 T20 World Cup. Even though he faced inconsistency in the early years of his career, he made a stable position for himself as an opener. 

His career reached new heights when he scored the first double century in 2013 and when he scored 264 runs against Sri Lanka. Later, he became the captain of the IPL team, Mumbai Indians, and under his captainship, he led the team to five wins. In Tests, he impressed fans after becoming an opener in 2019. In 2022, he became India's full-time captain across all formats.

Beyond the cricket field, Rohit Sharma has a beautiful personal life. He married his friend and sports manager, Ritika Sajdeh in December 2015. Their bond is loved by the fans because of the way they support each other. Ritika is often seen cheering for Rohit, with fingers crossed.
