Rubina Dilaik And Her Twins Stranded In Himachal Pradesh Amid Rains, Landslides, 'Damage To Roads'

Flashfloods, cloudbursts, and landslides have been battering the state of Himachal Pradesh amid heavy rainfall. Many people have been stranded in the region, and relief efforts are underway to assist them. Popular TV actress, Rubina Dilaik, has also been stranded in her hometown in the state along with her twin baby girls, Jeeva and Edhaa. Here's what the actress shared about her situation. 

Rubina Dilaik is stranded in Himachal Pradesh with her baby girls 

Rubina Dilaik, on August 18, 2025, posted a few photos on her Instagram handle revealing that she and her baby girls had found shelter in a hotel amid severe rainfall wreaking havoc in her hometown in Himachal Pradesh. In the photos, the actress was seen with her daughters and her sister, Rohini, in the safety of the hotel. Along with that, Rubina also shared videos of the torrential rains and the efforts going on to control the landslides. 

Rubina Dilaik penned down her experience of the past few days in the caption of the post. The mother of two revealed how the severe rainfall had damaged roads, highways, fields and more. Rubina also expressed concern for all the affected families and her relatives going through a tough situation amid the calamity. The actress penned:

"Past 5 days were a roller coaster! Landslide and heavy rains in Himachal has caused a lot of damage to roads, highways , fields, in short many families are affected severely! My heart goes out to those ( including my relatives) who are suffering! I just wanted to say I am safe and so is my family with God’s Grace , though I couldn’t hold my daughters in my arms for long, I am grateful they are healthy and happy and off course in a protected environment ! Here is a glimpse of relief we had at Leeladhar Tranquility, who were kind to open their gates for us in these times of stress and unexpected circumstances."

More about the situation in Himachal Pradesh 

Since June 2025, Himachal Pradesh has witnessed heavy rainfall, which has caused much damage to the region. Roads have been damaged, bridges have submerged, buildings and vehicles have also been swept away, with landslides and flash floods wreaking havoc in many parts of the state. Relief efforts are going on in full swing in the state. As per a report by the State Disaster Management Authority, 263 people have lost their lives in the calamity as of now.

Rubina Dilaik tied the knot with actor, Abhinav Shukla in 2018. The couple appeared on Bigg Boss 14, where she ultimately won. Most recently, Rubina and Abhinav participated in the reality TV show, Pati, Patni Aur Panga. The actress is also a well-loved contestant of Laughter Chefs 2. In their personal life, the couple welcomed their twin baby girls, Jeeva and Edhaa, in 2023.
