Saif Ali Khan Says Knife Attacker Was In Jeh's Room, Slashed Him With Two Knives, 'Started Fighting'

Saif Ali Khan has established his name in Bollywood as an on-screen actor with his praiseworthy performances in films. However, in early 2025, the actor turned into a real-life superhero while protecting his two younger children, Taimur and Jeh, from a knife-wielding intruder. Saif opened up about the incident in the recent episode of Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle. 

Saif Ali Khan reveals that the intruder was standing over Jeh's bed in the dark with a knife 

In the recent episode of Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle, Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar appeared on the chat show. The Omkara actor opened up about the ordeal his family went through when he was attacked by an intruder. Talking about the scary incident, Saif said that when he entered his youngest son, Jeh's room, he saw an unknown man standing over his bed with a knife. After this, Saif revealed that he jumped on the man, and the two started to fight. However, during the altercation, he was 'slashed all over' by the intruder, who was armed with two knives. Saif was quoted as saying:

“I barged into Jeh’s room, and in the dark, I saw this guy standing over his bed with a knife. I jumped on him and we started fighting. And then, he went mad. He had these two knives, and he just started slashing all over me. "

Saif Ali Khan reveals Taimur's reaction when he saw his father 

As per reports, Taimur Ali Khan accompanied his injured father, Saif, to the hospital. The actor said that when the eight-year-old saw him, he asked Saif if he was going to die. Even while gravely injured, Saif reassured Taimur that he had pain in his back, but he was fine. The actor stated:

"Taimur looked at me upstairs, and he said, ‘Oh, my God! Are you going to die?’ And I said, no, I don’t think so. But I’ve got a pain in the back. I’m not going to die, I’m fine.”

When Kareena Kapoor Khan talked about Saif Ali Khan's knife attack for the first time 

Months after Saif Ali Khan endured the knife attack and had recovered from the injuries, Kareena opened up about the incident for the first time in an interview with Barkha Dutt. The actress revealed that she had yet to come to terms with the home invasion and how her family was in danger. Kareena also stated that it was hard for her to sleep at night and go back to normalcy due to the anxiety she was feeling after the attack. However, the actress said that for the sake of her children, she understood that she had to deal with it. Kareena was quoted as saying:

"I don't want to live in that fear for my children because that's also wrong to put that stress onto them. So, it's been a tough journey to manoeuvre from fear and anxiety to balancing the fact that I am a mother and I am also a wife. It was a combination of so much understanding that this is what I have to kind of deal with. I am just happy and thank God that we are safe”.
