Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan celebrated his beloved mother, Salma Khan's birthday on December 9, 2024. The actor's mommy was surrounded by her loved ones and dearest friends, who made the occasion as memorable as possible for her. Several heartwarming videos from the celebration have been going viral online, and one even featured Salma grooving with legendary actress and Salim Khan's second wife, Helen.
The first video of Salma Khan's birthday festivities to hit the Internet came from her son, Salman Khan himself. The actor took to his Instagram handle with an adorable video of Salma Khan dancing with her son and Salman's brother, Sohail Khan. As the music played in the background, the mother-son duo held hands and performed their moves. At one point, Sohail also laughed and told the person behind the camera that he would match his mother's steps.
Salma donned a floral-print suit with silver embellishments along the neckline and sleeve hems. She accessorised with a pair of emerald green statement earrings and bangles on one hand. Sohail opted for a full-sleeve T-shirt with the 'Superman' logo printed on it, denim jeans, and a cap. He further accessorised with a pair of sunglasses.
Once the dance was over, Salma gave Sohail a warm hug, reflecting her love not just for him but all her children. Well, her kids adore her just as much, and Salman proved that with his short but meaningful caption, which could be read as:
"Mummmmmyyyyy happy birthday… mother India, our world."
Salman had also tagged his siblings, Sohail, Arbaaz Khan, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, and Arpita Khan in his post. Not long after, the video was reshared by Sohail on his story with a sweet note wishing his 'Mother India' a happy birthday. Salma's 83rd birthday celebration was held at her daughter, Arpita Khan's newly-launched restaurant in Mumbai.

Not only did Salma Khan dance with her son, Sohail, but she also shook her leg with the iconic actress and Salim Khan's second wife, Helen. Fitness coach, Deanna Panday who was a guest at the celebration, took to Instagram with a few glimpses of the fun-filled affair. Included in her dump was a video of Salma dancing away with Helen. Another clip featured Salma cutting a huge cake while surrounded by her loving daughters Arpita, Alvira, and other family members. Deanne's heartfelt caption for the post read:
"Happy Birthday To Salma Aunty. You are like my mom too, love you so much. Such a blast we have had today & always."
For the unversed, Salim Khan and Salma Khan tied the knot in 1964, following which they became parents to Salman, Sohail, Arbaaz, and Alvira. Sailm then got hitched for a second time with Helen in 1981, and the pair adopted a daughter named Arpita.

In it, Arbaaz Khan had the opportunity to talk about his father's second marriage, and he shared some interesting insights. According to Arbaaz, their mother, Salma never said anything against their father or Helen. In his words:
"My mother never influenced us to think or say anything against our father. She had her troubles, but she never influenced us to think, 'Your dad is like this,' or, 'This is what he is doing.' Never."
