Arjun Kapoor's maternal grandmother and film producer may not have a vast filmography in the film industry. Still, she was one of the most outspoken and unfiltered actresses of her time. Sattee Shourie appeared in only three films during her short-lived film career, including her 1991 debut, Farishtay, Sheesha (1986), and Yug in 1997. However, she locked horns with her debut film's lead and well-established star in the industry, Vinod Khanna, and in an old interview, she reflected on the same.
Sattee Shourie once sat for a conversation with Lehren Retro and got candid about her experience working with Vinod Khanna. The actor, who was a well-known name in the industry, didn't leave the best impression on Sattee. She worked with Vinod on her debut film, Farishtay, in 1986, and didn't like him right off the bat. During the conversation, she expressed working with Vinod as:
"Vinod Khanna naam ke difficult aadmi ke saath kaam karna kitna mushkil hai. Aapko lohey ka dil aur pathar ka shareer banana padta hai, itney difficult aadmi ke saath kaam karne ke liye."
In the same conversation, Sattee Shourie revealed that Vinod Khanna would show up hours late on the set. She recalled how the actor wouldn't care that the producer would face a massive loss and would often show up 5-6 hours late for the shoot. While it was a culture for big stars to arrive late on set, Sattee found it extremely unprofessional. She was quoted as saying:
"Jab se woh wapis aaye hai, unkey saare producers ki haalat dekh lijiye kya hai. Na woh uthey hai time pe, na kabhi woh time pe pohonchtey hai. Na woh kabhi ye sochtey hai ki jo director 9:30 am ko lights, camera aur baaki artists ko bulatey hai, unki shooting pe 2:30 pm pe pohonchtey hai, 5 ghante mei kitna paise ka nuksaan hota hai. Unhoney ye kabhi socha hi nahi."
In the same conversation with Lehren Retro, Sattee revealed that no one knew if Vinod Khanna would show up for the shoot the next day. She recalled how, even if he showed up, he would only shoot for 2 hours and then leave. Sattee expressed that it was unfair to the film's producers, who were left with massive losses to pay.
Sattee would often call Vinod Khanna unprofessional and stress how he should be held liable for the loss the producers faced because of him. She even suggested that the actor should be blacklisted from the industry for his unethical behaviour. She was quoted as saying:

"Aapko pata hi nahi hota hai ki ye jo Vinod Khanna naam ka praani jo hai, woh apne bistar se uthkar subha set pe pohncheyga ki nahi. Har din agar aap 2:30 pm pe aate ho aur 4:30 bjey chaley jaatey ho toh sirf 2 ghanta shooting hoti hai. Aur jo paisa baaki ke 6 ghante ka producer ka barbad hota hai woh Vinod Khanna na bharey? Ye professional behaviour nahi hai, mai toh request karungi ki iss tarha ke artist ko toh blacklist kar dena chahiye."
