Shah Rukh Khan Makes Late Night Visit To Salim Khan In Hospital, Know Latter's Health Update

Veteran screenwriter, Salim Khan, has been hogging the spotlight for a few days now owing to his health. For those unaware, he is currently admitted to the Lilavati Hospital after he suffered from a minor brain haemorrhage. As a much-loved figure in the Bollywood industry, several members of the film fraternity expressed concern about Salim Khan's health. To mention, on Saturday evening, that is on November 21, 2026, Shah Rukh Khan made a late-night visit to show his support during this concerning time.

On February 21, 2026, late at night, paparazzi accounts such as Instant Bollywood captured Shah Rukh Khan's car entering the Lilavati hospital premises amid tight security. According to reports, SRK stayed there for nearly an hour before making his exit. While some reports suggest that Salman Khan visited earlier in the morning, others claim that the Bollywood superstar was also present when SRK came to pay a visit to his father, Salim Khan.  

It is worth noting that Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan share a close bond in the industry and have been friends for more than 3 decades. The Khan-duo have worked together in a number of hit films over the years, such as Karan Arjun, Pathaan, Tiger 3, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Furthermore, for those unaware, Shah Rukh Khan has always been vocal about how much of an influence Salim Khan has been in his life and career. In fact, he has also credited Salim Khan for the success that he enjoys today.  

Doctor confirms Salim Khan is suffering from minor brain damage 

A couple of days ago, on February 17, 2026, it was reported that Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan, was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital. He was apparently brought here by the family doctor but was eventually shifted to the ICU for further monitoring. Just a day later, on February 18, 2026, Dr. Jaleel D Parkar, Pulmonologist, Department of Chest Medicine, confirmed that Salim Khan had suffered a minor brain haemorrhage while addressing the media. Clarifying that no surgery has been performed on the veteran screenwriter, he said:  

"There was no surgery performed. It was a procedure which we usually do. Yes, he had a brain haemorrhage, which was very minimal and did not require any surgical intervention. There was no need for any surgery.”

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, there were also many other Bollywood celebrities who visited the veteran screenwriter. Among them, some of the most prominent names were Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Javed Akhtar, Shilpa Shetty, and more. To mention, Aamir Khan also visited Salim Khan while being accompanied by his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt. Other high-profile people who visited include politician, Rahool N Kanal, as well as actor, Lulia Vantur.

Salim Khan began his acting career in his 60s, with one of his most notable films from that time being Teesri Manzil, where he starred alongside Shammi Kapoor. However, when it comes to his screenwriting career, about a decade or two longer to find fame. To mention, he is one half of the Salim-Javed duo, where he used to write screenplays, stories, and scripts for Bollywood projects alongside Javed Akhtar.
