Amid huge celebrations over Sherry Singh making history as the first Indian to be crowned Mrs Universe 2025, her victory has been marred by serious allegations. The rumour mill is churning out reports that the pagaent diva might have bought the winning crown at approximately Rs. 2 crores. This has raised a lot of questions about her validity as a winner and also about the integrity of the international competition. Apart from this, Sherry has also come under fire for a supposed dual representation. As per reports, she had participated in 2024 as Mrs Bharat Universe and in 2025 as Mrs India Universe. Experts believe that this could reflect badly on the country's reputation at the global pageantry. 

Regardless of these accusations, the country continues to celebrate Sherry Singh's achievement. There has also been no official confirmation or statement on these reports.
