Shloka Mehta Recreates Kareena Kapoor's Iconic 'Bole Chudiyan' Look For Anant-Radhika's 'Sangeet'

Indian business tycoon, Mukesh Ambani, and his wife, Nita Ambani, hosted the grand sangeet of the to-be-married couple, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, on July 5, 2024, at the NMACC, Mumbai. They left no stone unturned in making the event extravagant. However, what caught the attention more was the glitz and glamour of the women of the Ambani clan. While Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani and Radhika Merchant turned heads in their respective ensembles, the Ambani badi bahu, Shloka Mehta Ambani, wasn't left behind.

Shloka Mehta's look was inspired by Kareena Kapoor's look from K3G

Recently, Shloka's sister, Diya Mehta Jatia, who is also her stylist, took to her Instagram account to drop some unseen pictures of her sister's look from Anant and Radhika's sangeet. In the post, she mentioned that while they were conceptualising Shloka's look for the event, they wanted something fun, elegant and iconic. Keeping this in mind, they thought to recreate Manish Malhotra's OG look for Kareena Kapoor in the song, Bole Chudiyan from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

In the pictures, Shloka looked stunning in an ombre orange-hued, heavily embellished lehenga choli. While 'Poo' in K3G wore flared pants, Shloka opted for a more event-appropriate style and went with a lehenga featuring floral motifs all over it. Meanwhile, Shloka's backless high-low choli was adorned with beaded-strings, and an addition of a similar coloured dupatta completed her whole look. She accessorised her look with plenty of diamond-encrusted jewels. Sharing the pictures, Shloka's sister penned:

"Looking PHAT! While conceptualising the sangeet look we wanted to go for something fun, elegant and 'iconic'. After multiple rounds of discussions, we thought of dipping into the archives and recreated the OG @manishmalhotra05 ‘bole chudiyan’ look. It was an absolute blast!!! "

Shloka Mehta opts for a black lehenga choli for the after-party

Akash Ambani's wife, Shloka Mehta, never ceases to flaunt her opulent style statements. She wore another charming lehenga choli, this time from the shelves of international designer, Faraz Manan. Her outfit comprised a stone-studded black sleeveless choli, and the skirt featured black and golden detailing. She accessorised this look with diamond bangles and dainty earrings. Sharing the pictures, Shloka's sister wrote:

"Midnight magic."

Shloka Mehta wore a custom Tamara Ralph saree paired with a pearl-studded blouse

Earlier, Diya also posted another look of her sister, Shloka Mehta from Anant and Radhika's sangeet. For the event, the Ambani badi bahu opted for a custom-made saree from the shelves of the international designer, Tamara Ralph. The white saree featured floral embroidery at the bottom and a crepe form near the pallu. She paired her saree with a pearl-encrusted halter-neck blouse that featured crystal bow detailing at the back.
