Shoaib Ibrahim Reveals Dipika Kakar Is Out Of The ICU, Ruhaan Met Her, 'First Day Se Lekar Ab Tak..'

Dipika Kakar has been among the most loved actresses on Television. Known for her titular role in Sasural Simar Ka, the actress and her husband, Shoaib, give a daily glimpse of their personal life to fans through their vlogs. Fans were left shocked after the duo revealed that Dipika Kakar had been diagnosed with a 'tennis-ball sized' liver tumour which is second stage malignant (cancerous). Recently, Dipika's liver tumour surgery was held. After sharing brief updates on her health, Shoaib recently shared a new vlog where he revealed that Dipika Kakar is out of the ICU. He also revealed how the last three days went for them and how their son, Ruhaan, is coping with the situation.

Shoaib Ibrahim reveals Dipika Kakar has started walking and eating solid foods

Shoaib Ibrahim shared a new vlog on his YouTube channel. He revealed that Dipika Kakar, who had her liver tumour removal surgery three days ago, has been finally moved into a regular room. He shared she is recovering well, and due to her stable condition, the doctors decided to take her out of the ICU. So, after a few days, when the doctors would give a nod, Dipika would go home. The Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai actor recalled that the actress had a complex 14-hour surgery, which started after 8:30 am and ended at 11:30 pm. Recalling how everyone panicked during her surgery, he said: 

“8:30 baje mein Dipika ko OT mein chod ke aaya and 11:30 woh bahar nikli. Mai usse mila, woh bhi direct ICU mein jab usse shift kiya. 6 ya 7 baje ke baad main panic hone laga and sabne ghar pe bhi panic karne lage. Andaar se koi khabar nahi aa rahi thi aur ek ghar mein hota hai na ki ghar mein kisi ne kabhi aise itni lambi surgery dekhi nahi thi.”

Amid the panic, Shoaib calmed down after he recalled advice given by their doctor. The latter told him that if they don't come out early, it is a sign that the surgery is going fine. He revealed that in comparison to her surgery day, Dipika has been recovering well. However, there is some pain in her stitches, which would take time to heal. Moreover, the Bigg Boss 12 winner has started eating solid foods after only having a liquid diet for the past three days. In Shoaib's words:

“Alhamdulillah, first day se jo aaj dekha jaye toh woh bohot zyaada behtar hai. Usse ICU se shift kar diya hai, thoda sa pain stitches mein rehta hai woh rahega, but saare chizze better hai. Jo blood report roz ho rahe hai woh thik hai. Dipika ka chalna phirna start ho gaya hai, slowly chal rahi hai, normal diet pe bhi aa gayi hai.”

Shoaib shared that the tumour has been removed from Dipika's liver and has been sent for a biopsy. The report would come in a week or two, and her gall baller was removed because doctors found a stone in it. At the same time, a minor percentage of her liver has been cut. But the doctor said that it is not a cause for worry because the liver is an organ which can regenerate itself. In addition, Shoaib expressed his gratitude to every fan who prayed for Dipika and asked them to continue and keep his wife in their prayers.

In the same conversation, Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that everyone at their home is taking care of their two-year-old son, Ruhaan. He mentioned that his mom, aunt, father, and nephew, Rehaan all are looking after his son. The toddler spent three nights in Dipika's absence without troubling anyone. However, he cried last night, and they brought him to meet Dipika for some time. She talked to her son, played with him, and then he went home. In the end, Shoaib also informed them that if Dipika continues to recover well, then in a day or two, he will share a new video with her for everyone.
