Shruti Haasan Opens Up On Being Asked, 'Which Number Boyfriend Is This'? After Breakup With Santanu

Shruti Haasan has been in the limelight not just for her movies and songs but also for her relationships. Before she found love in visual artist, Santanu Hazarika, Shruti was known to be dating actor, Michael Corsale. However, for the actress, it did not work with Michael or Santanu. The actress, who has moved ahead in her life, recently opened up about having no regrets in her life when folks asked her about her current boyfriend's number.

Shruti Haasan opens up on people asking her about her boyfriends

Shruti, in an interview with Filmfare, spoke on the fact of having no regrets in her life and was open towards answering the question of people related to ‘which number boyfriend is this'? Even though Shruti and Michael had never acknowledged their relationship earlier, she used to post pictures with the London-based actor. Even when she broke up with Santanu, she never hid the fact from the media and has no regrets related to the choices she made in her life. Shruti said:

"I have hurt some people and I wish I didn’t do that. Everything else, I have like zero regrets. I’m like, okay, I was a clown, it’s fine. Just some people that were very valuable to me, I hurt them by mistake and I always now spend my time saying sorry for it."

Shruti, going ahead, shared that she would not like to change anything in her life but she does have certain regrets related to the choices she made. Shruti agreed that she did hurt a few people who genuinely mattered to her, and also made her own set of mistakes. Although, it is a part of her life and has also apologised to them.

Shruti Hassan talks about her 'dangerous ex'

Shruti, going ahead in the interview, shared she should not have been influenced by her relationships. She shared that this did not change much with time and also revealed that everyone had that one 'dangerous ex'. However, Shruti has moved on in her life and addressed comments on her dating life shared:

"We all have that one dangerous ex, apart from that, I do close the chapter with no regrets. That’s why when people say, oh, which number boyfriend is this? You’re not understanding – for you it’s a number, for me it’s the number of times I failed at having the love I want. So, I don’t feel bad about it…but I feel a little bad. Of course, I’m human."

When Shruti was with Michael, she never openly admitted to being in a relationship with him. However, her PDA with him was not hidden from her fans. However, according to an ETimes report, when Shruti and Michael broke up, she deleted all her photos with him from social media. Later, when Shruti found love in Santanu, with whom she was for a couple of years, after their breakup, she even shared with one of her fans of being single.

Shruti's initial ex, Michael had supported her in her singing career. She has never blamed her partner when her relationship ended, as people grow differently in life. However, she feels that she has always been good and loyal in her equations and never felt the need to explain herself as to why she was moving on from someone.
