Shubman Gill Finally REACTS To His Relationship Buzz With Sara Tendulkar: 'Hardly Any Time To...'

For the past few years, Indian cricketer, Shubman Gill's name has been associated with many. However, his buzz about dating Sara Tendulkar, Sara Ali Khan and even Avneet Kaur gained a lot of traction. Some of his fans even teased him on the field with Sara Tendulkar's name. Now, finally, Shubman Gill broke his silence on the rumours of being romantically involved with any of them.

Shubman Gill is not ready for the unverified dating buzz. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Shubman talked about the rumours and called them 'ridiculous'. He even laughed off at the thought of being romantically involved with any of them. Shubman finally cleared the air about all pesky dating rumours and claimed that he had never even met those people even in his life. He said:

"There have been so many rumours and speculations linking me with different people. And sometimes, it would be so ridiculous that I’ve never seen or met that person ever in my life."

Further, Shubman clarified that he has been focused on his career and has no space to be with someone. He mentioned that he was travelling somewhere or the other, and he had no time to invest in a relationship with someone. He said:

"Right now, I’m so focused on what I need to do in my professional career. There’s no space in my life to be able to be with someone. Three hundred days, we’re on the road, travelling somewhere. So there’s hardly any time to invest in a relationship with someone."

When Shubman Gill revealed Ed Sheeran that he was single

In 2024, when Shubman Gill appeared on Tanmay Bhat's show along with singer-songwriter, Ed Sheeran. Amidst some fun conversation they had, Ed asked the cricketer whether he had a girlfriend. To this, Shubman replied straight-facedly, ‘No.’ Hearing his response, Tanmay Bhatt gave a fishy laughter. However, it was Ed Sheeran, who took a funny dig at the cricketer’s single status, and said:

“On the market guys.”

When Shubman Gill’s profile was found on a dating app

On February 21, 2024, a Redditor posted a screenshot of Shubman Gill’s profile, as it appeared on the dating platform, Raya. The profile featured a monochrome picture of the cricketer taken during a photoshoot with GQ magazine. Additionally, it was the short bio which Shubman allegedly penned in his dating profile, that grabbed attention. It can be read as:

“Athlete who learned to paint, to call himself an artist on Raya.”
