Shubman Gill recently sat for an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, wherein the cricketer was asked about his relationship status. Replying to the same, the Indian cricketer shared that he has been single for three years now. While he straightaway denied being in a relationship, he addressed the dating buzz that often goes round and round about him. Shubman stated that he has been linked to several people over the years and the speculations are so lame sometimes that he even didn't meet that person in his life. He revealed being shocked with such dating buzz about himself. In Shubman Gill's words:

"I mean, I've been single for over three years, and so many speculations and rumours link me with different people. And sometimes, it's so ridiculous that I would have never even seen or met that person ever in my life. And I would be hearing rumours that why I'm with this person and this person where else I'd be like."

Shubman Gill talks about his current focus in life

Talking more about the same, Shubman Gill shared that he's currently focused on his professional career, and thus, he doesn't have that much time to invest in any kind of relationship. He mentioned that he doesn't have that much time to be with someone for 300 days a year, as he's always travelling. Talking more about the same, Shubman shared:

"Like, I know I'm so focused on what I need to do in my professional career. There is no space in my life to be with someone like 300 days a year. We are on the road travelling somewhere. So there is hardly any time to be able to be with someone or invest, you know, the time to be with someone in a relationship."
