Shweta Bachchan's Rare Pic Taken 5 Days Before Navya's Birth, She Opts For A Real Tagar Flowers Veil

Daughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan is a popular columnist, author, and former model. On the personal front, Shweta got married to industrialist, Nikhil Nanda in 1997, and the two are blessed with two kids, Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda. For the unversed, Shweta was just 21 years old when she tied the knot with Nikhil and welcomed her first child, Navya, the same year. 

Shweta Bachchan dazzles in a Chikankari ensemble in an unseen picture with Jaya Bachchan

Ace designer duo, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla recently delighted everyone with a rare photo of Jaya Bachchan and her daughter, Shweta Bachchan, which is now going viral. The photo was reportedly clicked at Shweta’s baby shower when she was pregnant with her daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda. Shweta dazzled in a white chikankari ensemble crafted in real silver, which had antique gota borders with zardozi embroidery at the hemline. She also wore a veil of real Tagar flowers to complement her look on her big day.

The throwback picture showed Shweta and Jaya fondly posing with each other, and it spoke volumes about the love they share. Jaya was seen sitting on the floor while resting her head on Shweta’s lap. Dropping the picture on their official IG handle, the designer duo revealed that the photograph was clicked five days before Shweta Bachchan gave birth to her first child, a daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda. Their caption can be read as:

"In this iconic photoshoot, Shweta dazzles in white Chikankari alongside Jaya Bachchan. Her ensemble is crafted in real silver and antique gota borders with Zardozi embroidery at the hem, while Jayaji’s Chikan saree featured jaali work in the Tagar flower motif. To complement her mother’s saree, Shweta wore a veil of real Tagar flowers for her big day. This photograph was clicked five days before Shweta gave birth to her daughter, Navya Naveli."

Shweta Bachchan never cared about her children's academic results

In one of the episodes of What The Hell Navya, Shweta Bachchan shared her perception of academic failures and said that she never cared about her children's academic results. She added that she wants her children to first become good human beings and never care if they aren't A-grade students. Shweta mentioned that she doesn't want Navya and Agastya to be number one, but at least they should work hard. The doting mother added that then she will be completely satisfied with whatever result comes, as she herself has failed in many subjects in school.

Navya Naveli Nanda's professional front

Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda is a Fordham University graduate. She is also the co-founder of a healthcare portal, Aara Health, which focuses on the health and hygiene of women in rural areas. Navya Naveli Nanda also runs a famous podcast show, What The Hell Navya, which has successfully completed two seasons. Navya, often hailed for her gorgeous looks, decided to stay away from acting just like her mother, Shweta Bachchan Nanda.
