Sivasri Skandaprasad, daughter of Mridangam maestro, Seerkazhi Sri J Skandaprasad, is a famous classical singer. The Chennai-based Carnatic singer rose to fame after she sang in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. It was back in January 2025, when Sivasri made it to the headlines with the reports about her engagement with Bangalore South MP Tejasvi Surya. While the couple hasn't confirmed or denied the same, recently their wedding photos made it all clear. Yes, Sivasri and Tejasvi recently got married.

Sivasri Skandaprasad and Tejasvi Surya tied the knot on March 6, 2025, in the presence of their close friends and family members. Several photos from the occasion made rounds on social media, leaving everyone in awe. For the day, Sivasri was dolled up in a red-toned saree, which she teamed with a green blouse.

Sivasri Skandaprasad wore the saree in traditional style and looked the prettiest. Statement jewels, including a matching necklace, layered haar, maang teeka, bangles, matching earrings, and a nosepin, amplified her bridal look. A soft touch of makeup in addition to kohl-rimmed eyes, soft-toned lipstick, a bindi, and a tied-up hairdo added stars to her look. Tejasvi, on the other hand, opted for a white-toned vesthi. A pagdi, and classy wrist-watch finalised his look as a groom. In the photos, the couple looked the happiest as they embarked on the new phase of their lives.

Sivasri Skandaprasad was born on August 1, 1996, and she is the daughter of Mridangam maestro, Seerkazhi Sri J Skandaprasad and granddaughter of the famous musician, late Seerkazhi R. Jayaraman. Sivasri learned Carnatic music under the guidance of Guru A.S. Murali, and she is a multifaceted artist. Not only that, Sivasri is a classical singer, but she is also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. As per her LinkedIn, she is a painter, and undertakes commissioned projects, and also is associated with part-time modelling.

Talking about Sivasri Skandaprasad's education, she acquired her graduation degree in bio-engineering from SASTRA University. She also has a Master's degree in Bharatanatyam from the University of Madras. She also studied Sanskrit, and she has a degree in Ayurvedic cosmetology. Sivasri has been a part of international cultural programs in Denmark and South Korea, and it was her artistic work and background that led her there.

Sivasri is also the founder of Ahuti, which is a platform that aims to build a stronger and visionary young India through an e-learning program. There are a total of 64 art programs in Ahuti, and they aim to enrich and nourish the next generations. For her work, Srivasri has been awarded several prestigious accolades including Yuva Samman, Yuva Kala Bharathi, and titles like Bhakti Gana Kokila and Bharata Kala Choodamani.
