Naga Chaitanya And Sobhita Welcome Akhil Akkineni's Wife, Zainab Into Their Family, 'Congrats To..'

Akhil Akkineni, who is the youngest son of popular South Indian actor, Nagarjuna and half-brother of Naga Chaitanya, recently tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Zainab Ravdjee. The couple held a private and traditional ceremony in Hyderabad, and its inside pictures are already making waves on the internet. Akhil, known for his work in Telugu films like Hello and Most Eligible Bachelor has been among the prominent actors from his renowned filmy family. As per the family trend, the official announcement about the duo's nuptials was shared by an elder from their family. Akhil's mother, Amala Akkineni, and recently, Naga Chaitanya and his wife, Sobhita Dhulipala, shared their good wishes for the newlyweds and welcomed Zainab into their family.

After Amala Akkineni officially announced Akhil Akkineni's wedding on her social media handle with the wedding pictures of the duo, other family members and industry insiders began to share their good wishes for the couple. Among others, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's posts were admired by fans. The couple, who themselves tied the knot in the latter half of 2024, shared their pictures with the newlyweds from their wedding ceremony and congratulated them. At the same time, they made a special effort to welcome Zainab into their family. Taking to his Instagram, Chaitanya penned:

"Congrats to the newlyweds, welcome to the family dear Zainab, @akkineniakhil."

In the picture, Sobhita looked classy in a cream and golden hued silk saree with an intricately woven border. She paired it with a contrasting deep maroon blouse, which featured long sleeves and a traditional neckline. For the jewellery, the actress kept it simple with a gold necklace and matching earrings. She rounded off the look with minimal makeup and hair tied in a neat low bun. On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya donned a classic light beige silk kurta with a matching sherwani style jacket and a textured silk stole, a.k.a angavastram.

After Akhil Akkineni tied the knot with Zainab, his mother, Amala, posted an official announcement to welcome the bride. She revealed that the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony, which was held at their home in the wee hours at 3:35 am. She shared good wishes for the couple, and her husband, Nagarjuna, also posted candid moments from Akhil and Zainab's wedding, including their pheras and wedding puja. Meanwhile, Akhil and Zainab's wedding was also graced by RRR star Ram Charan.

Akhil Akkineni is the son of Nagarjuna and actress, Amala Akkineni. He made his debut as a lead actor in Akhil in 2015. He went on to work in Hello and Mr. Majnu. However, it was Most Eligible Bachelor, which made him a famous name in the South Indian Film Industry. On the other hand, Zainab hails from a prominent business family. She is the daughter of industrialist, Zulfi Ravdjee and prefers to keep her personal life low-key. However, her social media handle hints that she is a perfumer, entrepreneur and artist.
