Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya are all set to get married within a few hours, and their subh muhurat is reportedly 8.15 pm. Sobhita and Chaitanya had kept their relationship hush-hush until their engagement on August 8, 2024. And now, the couple is about to hop onto their forever journey. For the unversed, Chaitanya was earlier married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and it was soon after the ex-couple's separation that the actor's photo with Sobhita made rounds on social media, leaving all wondering if it was an infidelity on his part. Ahead of Sobhita and Chaitanya's wedding, we stumbled upon the former's comment on Samantha.
It was back in 2018 when Samantha Ruth Prabhu unveiled the teaser of the film, Goodachari, featuring Adivi Sesh alongside Sobhita Dhulipala. Well, Sobhita was later asked about Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and she heaped praises on the Citadel: Honey Bunny actress. Sobhita mentioned that Samantha was kind in whatever she had said on her social media handles. For the unversed, Samantha had called the movie, Goodachari 'phenomenal'. While unveiling the teaser, Samantha said that she hoped to be the 'lucky charm', and Sobhita mentioned the same while hoping for it. Sobhita also called Samantha wonderful and remarked:
"She was very kind actually, from Twitter to Facebook, social media, everything she said. She said that, you know, ‘I hope I’m the lucky charm’, and I do hope so, you know. She’s wonderful, so I’m very glad."
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble in 2023, Sobhita Dhulipala was asked about the South Indian actors who left their mark in Bollywood. Talking about the same, Sobhita was asked about Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Sobhita mentioned that Samantha's journey is super cool. Sobhita further added that if someone looks into Samantha's filmography and the way she headlines a project, they would feel that it's pretty cool. In Sobhita's words:
"I think her journey is super cool. Like, if you see her filmography, the way she can headline a project right now, I think that’s really cool.”
While promoting his then-upcoming film, Custody, Naga Chaitanya revealed being formally divorced from Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Well, the actor mentioned that Samantha is a lovely person and she deserves all the happiness. Talking more about the same, Chaitanya added how things got awkward between him and Samantha when media speculated stuff. Chaitanya remarked that it was the moment where he felt bad. He mentioned how a third party was attached to his past to create headlines out of that. Chaitanya said that it is very disrespectful to the third party, who is unnecessarily involved with his past, and that's the worst.
For the unversed, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala would tie the knot at the Annapurna Studios, which was founded by the actor's grandfather, Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Talking to Zoom, Chaitanya stated that as this place is sentimental, the preparations are going well, and it's memorable for everyone. Chaitanya mentioned that there's a lot of excitement and healthy nervousness in him.
