Sonakshi Sinha is enjoying incomparable stardom off lately, after delivering an enthralling performance as the ‘Fareedan’ in the series, Heeramandi. The project, which is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut in the sphere of OTT shows, has gathered humongous responses worldwide, and there has been a fair share of criticism as well. However, it must be noted that Sanjay’s charm in creating a magnificent world with his grand sets and opulent props, has been an eye-catching phenomenon nonetheless.
In a recent interaction with India Today, Sonakshi Sinha opened up about the kind of filmmaker, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is, as he worked on his dream project of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The diva dismissed pre-circulated rumours about SLB being aggressive on the sets, and throwing things and phones all around the place in a fit of anger. Sonakshi, on the contrary, remarked that Sanjay was a completely nurturing personality. However, he was a strict taskmaster at times, who ensures seamless work on such a mega scale project like this. In her words:
“Absolute rumours! But yes, he is a taskmaster, I won’t deny that. But, he deserves every bit of it because see the kind of work and magic that he creates, right? And if somebody does mess with his vision, I think it’s his right to make sure the work gets done.”
