Once, in a candid interview with Bollywood Bubble, Sourabh Raaj Jain recalled an incident that clearly shows the impact of his portrayal of 'Shri Krishna' in Mahabharat. The actor shared that he once jumped a red light out by mistake at a local street, and a traffic police officer came to have a word with him. As soon as he showed his face to the cop, the latter started smiling, and Sourabh asked him, "Sir aapne Mahabharat dekha hain? I played Krishna, toh please maaf kar dijiye." The traffic police officer forgave Sourabh for the mistake, and the actor got away with no fine.
