Meet Suhani Shah: Indian Mentalist, Started Performing Magic At Seven, Left School After First Grade

Suhani Shah is a famous Indian Mentalist who has gained immense fame and recognition after her recent appearance on an Australian TV show, The Project. The first female Indian Mentalist shocked the Australians after she revealed the four-digit passcode of a presenter’s iPhone to reveal another presenter’s crush; Suhani proved the metal of her skills and techniques on live television. With 2 million followers on her Instagram handle, Suhani is one of the world’s most recognised Mentalists at the moment.

Before bamboozling the Australian audience, Suhani Shah had over 5,000 performances in her name. Suhani Shah has been performing magic tricks in India for some time now, but the young lady is gaining widespread fame with her rise in recent years. She also has a massive 4.3 million subscribers on YouTube and 65.6K followers on social media. Not only this, Suhani has also won several awards and has been spotted doing magic tricks on several famous personalities and Bollywood celebrities.

Suhani Shah was born on January 29, 1990, in Rajasthan’s Udaipur into a Marwadi family. Despite coming from a normal household with no connections to the world of mentalism, the way Suhani has established herself is way too inspiring. According to a DNA report, Suhani can read people’s minds and thoughts without using any special object. Apart from being a Mentalist, she is also a corporate trainer and a counsellor for so many high-profile clients.

According to a report in The Guardian, Suhani Shah told her father at the age of six that she wanted to become a magician. Suhani’s father was also a seasoned magician, and he encouraged his daughter as expected but told her to try to be more professional if she really wanted to make it a profession. However, growing up, she realised that magic wasn’t respected in India. In the following years, she opened a hypnotherapy centre in Goa but closed it after some time after she started missing performing on stage.

At the age of seven, Suhani started doing magic at events, and as a result, she dropped out of school after first grade. As per a DNA report, Suhani Shah’s first stage show was reportedly held in October 1997 at Ahmedabad’s Thakor Bhai Desai Hall. For the uninitiated, she has also penned a book titled Unleash Your Inner Power. With her work, we hope Suhani continues to make waves on the global stage.
