Gabriel Swann Macht, commonly known as Gabriel Macht, is one of the finest actors in Hollywood. The famous actor has appeared in a series of famous films and television shows in a career spanning more than four decades. Gabriel Macht has worked with legendary actors and directors, including Edward Zwick, Robert De Niro, Frank Miller, and many more. However, he is best known for his exceptional work in the critically acclaimed American drama show, Suits.
Gabriel Macht played the lead character, 'Harvey Specter' in the series, Suits. The iconic character is often regarded as one of the most notable characters in the history of cinema and television. Some of his most memorable one-liners include, "When you're backed against the wall, break the goddamn thing down," "I don't play the odds. I play the man", and "That's the difference between you and me. You want to lose small, I want to win big."
For the uninitiated, Suits was the most-streamed show in the US back in 2023, breaking the record of The Office. The legal drama was streamed by a total of 57.7 billion minutes on Peacock and Netflix. The ninth season, which was the last season of the show, was released back in 2019. In the same year, we witnessed Pearson (a spinoff series of Suits) in 2019. However, after a long wait, in February 2025, another spinoff series titled Suits: LA will start streaming on Peacock and NBC.
Gabriel Macht was born on January 22, 1972, in New York City, USA, to his parents, Stephen Macht and Suzanne Victoria Pulier. While his mother, Suzanne, was a professional museum curator, his father, Stephen, was a renowned actor in Hollywood. For the uninitiated, Gabriel Macht made his acting debut at the age of eight. The child actor appeared in the film, Why Would I Lie?, which was directed by Larry Peerce. Gabriel was also nominated for the Best Young Motion Picture Actor Award for acting in Why Would I Lie?
Later in his career, Gabriel Macht featured in a series of renowned films, including American Outlaws, Bad Company, A Love Song for Bobby Long, The Spirit, Middle Men, The Good Shepherd, S.W.A.T.: Firefight, and many more. Apart from Hollywood films, Gabriel Macht made his mark in the American television industry with shows like Beverly Hills, 90210, Sex and the City, The Audrey Hepburn Story, Archangel, Suits, Pearson, and more.

Moving on to Gabriel Macht's personal life, he is married to the stunning model and actress, Jacinda Barrett. The couple got married back in 2004 and welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Satine, in August 2007. Gabriel and Jacinda embraced parenthood again in February 2014 when she gave birth to a baby boy, and the couple named him Luca. Not everyone knows that Gabriel and Jacinda met each other on a blind date in 2000 and instantly hit off. After dating for four years, they married in 2004 and are considered one of Hollywood's most adored and sought-after couples.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Gabriel Macht talked about his decision to leave acting back in 2019 and move out of the USA. The actor revealed that after completing Suits, he and his wife, Jacinda Barrett, decided to explore the world with their kids, Satine and Luca. The couple fled the US and started living somewhere in Europe. When asked whether he is interested in returning to the US, he also revealed that he is raising his kids and working as a shareholder at the Bear Fight Whiskey. However, he has not denied possibilities of returning to Suits: LA to reportedly pass the baton to Stephen Amell.
