'Govinda Se Mera Shaadi Mother-In-Law Ke Wajah Se Hua', Reveals Actors Wife, Sunita Ahuja

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja have been there for one another in all seasons of life. The actor did undergo a tough life when he struggled to a mark in the Bollywood industry. However, with time he proved that he was there to stay and has always credited his mom, Nirmala Devi for his success. Sunita, his wife, on the other hand, who has been married to the man of her life, Govinda for around 40 years, credited her mother-in-law, Nirmala Devi, for her marriage to the actor.

Sunita Ahuja credits Govinda's mom for her marriage to the actor

Sunita recently sat down for an interview with Zoom TV and spoke about how her mother-in-law became her pillar of support when she lost her second daughter. The child was prematurely born and passed away, reportedly within three months. Sunita proudly credited her mother-in-law for making Govinda get married to her and shared how she supported her during the time of grief. Sunita shared:

"Aaj maine har jagah yahi bola hai Govinda se mera joh shaadi hua hai woh sirf meri mother in law ke wajah se. Kyuki unhone Govinda ko bola tha ki mere sei 3 saal affair kia tha, phir bola mei abhi shadi karta hu, thodi der baad karta hu. Mummy ne pehle bola agar tune Sunita ko chodha tu bhikari ki zindagi jiyega. Woh achi ladki hai. Meri mother in law aur mei dono Gemini hai na.. meri tarah strong hai. Virar mei rehke baal bacho ko bada kia, she used to work, singing teach karte thei. Himmat wali thi. Woh puja karte thei aapko takat milta hai puja pat karne se."

Sunita Ahuja shares that she never put any restrictions on Tina Ahuja and Yashvardhan

Sunita, who is a proud mother to Tina and Yashvardhan, spoke about their upbringing and shared that she never put any restrictions on them as a mother. She used to go out with the kids as she did not like it indoors and felt suffocated. This was because Govinda used to shoot half the time outdoors, so she used to take 2 nannies. Sunita revealed:

"Kyuki enki shootings bahar rehti thi. Maine bacho ko kabhi chodha nai ki mei boldu apni saas ko ki mummu aap dekh lijiye aur mei jari hu bahar Chi Chi ke saath. Woh mujhe nai pasand. Maine Tina ko yahi samjhaya hai ki aapko joh karna hai karo. Mei kabhi kisi cheez ke liye Tina ko mana nai karti."

Sunita Ahuja shares how she has been protective of her children

Sunita also shared that her daughter, Tina, was like a tomboy in school. She used to hit boys in her class, bunk school and used to go and eat a frankie. Sunita also shared that Tina knew if she told her mom, she would get a lot of beatings. However, Sunita always found her daughter to be wise as she never fell in any bad company. Sunita used to always give this piece of advice to her. However, for Yash, she has always been extremely worried and shared that even when he goes out, she calls and keeps a check on him. She said:

 "Yash ko cotton ke tarah pala hai. Yash aur Tina mei 7 saal ka antar hai. Yash ke liye mummy I am 29. Mujhe dar hai. Bahar gaya toh aaya ki nai ayaa, friends bolte hai etna bada hoh gaya hai abhi bhi mummy call karke puchti hai kaha hai kya kar raha hai. Jab tum maa baap banoge bacho ke liye aise karoge. Jab tak tu ghar nai aajata meko neend nai aata. Aaj tak mei aisi hu. Tina ka kya hai woh samajdar, balanced hai. Tina ka tension nai hota jitna Yash ka hota hai."
