Sunjay Kapur's Sis Says Priya With Some People Cornered Their Mom To Sign Papers, '..Banging Doors'

Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur died after he swallowed a bee while playing polo, which led him to face a heart attack and it finally took his life. A month after the same, Sunjay's mom, Rani, raised suspicion about her son's demise and said that she was forced to sign documents behind closed doors, when she was grieving her son's demise. While Sona Comstar denied her claims, Mandhira Kapur has now confirmed the same.

Mandhira Kapur confirms that her mom, Rani Kapur was forced to sign documents just after Sunjay Kapur's death

Mandhira Kapur recently sat for an interview with Republic, wherein she revealed that a bunch of people, along with Priya Sachdev Kapur cornered Rani Kapur to sign many documents. Mandhira questioned what papers they were not being shown, which her mom, Rani, had to sign forcefully. Mandhira stated that she couldn't name the people involved in this for legal matters. Mandhira went on to reveal that she was standing behind the closed door, banging on it, while her mom was inside of it, being forced while grieving her son's death. Mandhira can be quoted as saying:

"I was standing at the door banging on it. She was grieving. There were two doors, actually — a door inside and a door outside. So she couldn’t hear me. The bottom line is she signed some papers during the mourning period. She was in deep grief. She came to me and said, ‘I don’t know what papers I’ve signed. And since then, we’ve been asking and getting no response. So, what are you hiding from us?"

Mandhira Kapur and Rani Kapur haven't gotten any response from Priya Sachdev Kapur

In the same interview, Mandhira Kapur revealed that while she hasn't, her mom, Rani Kapur, has asked Priya Sachdev to send them the papers that she was forced to sign. Mandhira shared that she hasn't received any response from Priya, and they were told that her email has been compromised, which prevented her from forwarding the papers that Rani signed. Mandhira further stated that Priya has promised Rani Kapur to send the papers soon. Mandhira could be quoted as saying:

"We’ve written to the people asking them (for the papers), and we’ve been told her email is compromised. So we can’t send her anything."

Mandhira Kapur reflects on her fight with Sunjay Kapur

In the same interview, Mandhira Kapur talked about her fight with her brother Sunjay Kapur. Mandhira mentioned that she and her brother had small issues just as brother and sister, but it doesn't take away the 40 years they spent together. She stated that as she is Dr Kapur's daughter, she has every right to protect her mother, and she will continue to do the same. Mandhira then shared that their father wanted his kids to lead separate businesses, and while Sona Comstar was assigned to Sunjay, Smick (which she manages) was initially registered as Sona Mandhira.

Well, Sunjay sued Mandhira as he never wanted her to use the name 'Sona'. Mandhira revealed that she instantly changed her company's name to Smick, and they ended things amicably. She further mentioned that now people would say she is fighting for inheritance, but all she is doing is fighting for the legacy. Although people from outside can see the monetary value of the brand, the family has an emotional attachment to it, making it worth it.
