In an IMDB Ask Each Other Anything segment, Suriya revealed his Tamil movies had been remade into Hindi films. He also spoke on which remake film he had liked the most. Suriya credited Aamir for his fame and mentioned that the Ghajini actor praised Tamil movies which were made into Hindi remakes. For the unversed, Suriya's film Kaakha Kaakha, became Force, Ghajini kept the same title in Hindi, and Singham was remade with the same name, though with many changes. Finally, Soorarai Pottru was remade as Sarfira. Talking about Aamir Khan crediting his films, Suriya said:
"Usually, when a film is remade, the original actors and directors are not mentioned. But I believe Aamir Khan is the first to always credit the original film, its actors, and directors. The reason people in North India know me, even though they don't speak Tamil, is because Aamir Sir kept mentioning my name."
Suriya's film, Ghajini, was made in Hindi, and Aamir played a pivotal role. The superstar expressed that Ghajini was one of those rare movies that crossed the language barriers and Suriya had also admitted that he became a big fan of Aamir's performance.
