Well, the 2026 season has 24 players from the show's history competing for the title of Sole Survivor and the USD 1 million prize. The show had premiered back in 2026, and once again, host, Jeff Probst is back, who has been leading the show for more than two decades. For those who do not know, Survivor 50 airs every Wednesday night at 8.00 pm ET/PT on CBS and Paramount+.
The 50th season of the hit competitive reality show Survivor has delivered dramatic moments and unexpected twists, and fans have been loving the long-running franchise. The show is celebrating its 25-year legacy by bringing back players from various eras of the series and has showcased different twists. Now, one contestant has been sent back home from the dramatic Tribal Council. For all the fans who watch Survivor 50 because of the strategic move by the players it was contestant, Savannah Louie who has been voted out of Survivor 50.

Well, one of the most important moments of Survivor 50 arrived when Savannah Louie, who was the champion of Survivor 49, was cast off by her own tribe. She had just entered the game a few days back, and her elimination came really quickly. Savannah's early exit came too quickly, as she was the recent winner of Survivor 49. She had entered the game with a strong foothold, and as many of the contestants had not seen her in the winning season, she revealed that she was one of the most recent champions.

Savannah Louie's strategy of revealing that she was one of the most recent winners had backfired. Many of the players had seen her as a threat, and earlier in the game, she had taken the Block a-Vote advantage. For the unversed, with this tool, she could have access to the voting process control. The other players became suspicious when she had decided not to reveal the advantage. In a recent interview with EW.com, Savannah spoke about her recent eviction, which she is processing and said:
"Yeah, in hindsight, I wish I had remembered and played it, but dude, my mind was just going 120 miles per hour. I'm trying to process what my cast is saying and figure out if it relates to me, while also trying to figure out, how can I speak without giving too much away in case people do decide to vote with me for Ozzy. So there was a lot going on. And, of course, I just played 49 and my brain was definitely not operating at the usual 110% that it is."

Savannah Louie further revealed in the interview that she is confident she is one of the best people to work with for a returning-player season. Savannah shared that she has been extremely loyal, and people around her almost know who she is because her nature is almost predictable. Savannah also shared that she is not the most likeable person in the room. So if she is taken to the final three, then there are chances that socially, they may do better than her. Savannah added:

"And I'm a good person to work with. So in a returning player season where people have actually seen my season and seen how I operate and play, I think I have a good advantage there. But that being said, no, if I could go back, I would say yes to season 50 100 times out of 100 times. It was just incredible to be included in this, and even though it didn't turn out the way that I wanted, I got to play with my heroes. I got to play with people who might not ever play this game again."
Savannah did agree that she is not sure that the people she worked with, whether they will be there in Survivor 55. She is glad she did the same, even though it did not pan out the way she had imagined. Savannah also revealed that she felt she had only a 5% chance of making it through Tribal Council. Savannah then shared:
"You know, I thought there was probably a 5% chance. And then as Tribal Council was going, I'm like, Oh, damn, things are not looking good. People are talking about narratives that I am not in on. I could just kind of really feel that I was on the outs. But if there's even just a 1% chance, I'm always gonna hold that hope. Crazier things have happened."
