Tamannaah Bhatia became the talk of the town after the release of the blockbuster 2024 film, Stree 2. The actress was neither a lead character nor part of the supporting cast in the film. However, Tamannaah appeared in the movie's dance number, 'Aaj Ki Raat', where her moves and beauty mesmerised everyone. Despite the sensual lyrics of the song, she recently claimed that many mothers have told her that their babies eat food only while dancing to 'Aaj Ki Raat'. People have started trolling Tamannaah for this claim.
Tamannaah Bhatia, in an interview with The Lallantop, defended her choice of films and songs. The actress believes her work should have a meaningful impact on the lives of her viewers. Tamannaah also said that if a child has to watch her songs while eating their food, then 'so be it'. When asked which song of hers she was implying, the Baahubali actress replied with 'Aaj Ki Raat'. Tamannaah claimed that many mothers come to her and tell her that their babies will only eat the food while dancing to the song. In the interview, the actress was quoted as saying:
"I can't tell you the number of mothers that have called me up and said, 'My child will eat food only if he hears Aaj Ki Raat'. Because bacche apne diaper mein aise aise hil rahe hote hai."
Then Tamannaah defended the mothers when the host raised concerns and said that the moms' first priority is to make sure that their toddlers eat. The actress also stated that 1 to 2-year-old kids won't be able to understand and discern the lyrics anyway. Tamannaah further expressed that people forget the films and remember the music. In the interview, she said:
"Mummyo ka concern hai ki bacche khana kha rahe hai ya nahi? Priorities hote hai. Ek aadh saal mein unko kaunse lyrics samajh mein aayenge."
Tamannaah Bhatia's statements related to her song, 'Aaj Ki Raat' and young children aren't sitting well with netizens. Hours after the interview aired, people started trolling her on Instagram. One user wrote, "Yeh kese sanskar mil rahe Hain bachon ko". Another commentor quiped, "30 saal k bacche honge." Other users sarcastically stated, "What a noble work". While another commentor wrote, "Bada hi pariwarik song he..." Some trolls have also started comparing her to Urvashi Rautela, who is known to make absurd claims and called Tamannaah, 'Urvashi 2.0'.
