Tanya Mittal has been facing a lot of heat from viewers, co-contestants and even the show's host, Salman Khan, for her alleged lies about her lifestyle. The social media influencer is being called out for portraying herself as someone she is not. Tanya has been criticised by her housemates and even the guests who have appeared on the show over the weeks for her comments. And now, it seems that netizens have found a discrepancy in her story about her age.

Netizens think Tanya Mittal has been lying about her age

According to a growing conspiracy on Reddit, netizens have been speculating that Tanya Mittal might have lied about her age as well on Bigg Boss 19. Speculations began circulating after viewers noticed that while her age on the promo bio was listed as 25, she was heard sharing incidents that didn't align with that age. Soon enough, Reddit users started pointing the same out, with a user stating:

"She has claimed that she didn't get to step out after 6 PM for some 27-28 years. However, according to this, she's only 25. Make it make sense."

However, eagle-eyed fans quickly remembered that Tanya herself mentioned a very different number during a casual conversation in the house. A clip circulating online shows Tanya telling fellow contestant Neelam that she is 30 years old. In the next episode, she told Malti the same, 'I'm 30.' This directly contradicts the birth year in the promo. A comment read:

"Someone ik and she were batchmates, she’s in her late 30s, not 30! Her younger brother is in his mid 30s now."

Another wrote, "Her whole personality is about lying, which is handmade by Tanya." A comment read, "Matlab yeh mere se bas 3 saal badi hai. I thought she might be 30-32 something." However, not everyone blames Tanya. Some point fingers at the Bigg Boss production team itself, calling them out for getting contestants’ ages wrong in the past. "Awez himself said he’s 37 in the house, but the BB page says 32." A commenter said, "Bigg Boss is stupid to write 2000 here."
