In India, weddings are not just an occasion to celebrate the union of two souls, but a bond that is made between two families for saat janam. Every wedding inspires and provides a lot of ideas to the many soon-to-be-married couples to take cues from. But the best thing about Indian weddings are their exquisiteness in various rituals and customs around the nation. Amongst all the traditions and customs, the bridal red colour has been elevating the aura of women since time immemorial. It is considered the beginning of a girl's journey to womanhood.
And when we talk about the bridal ensemble, one name that instantly strikes our mind is Sabyasachi Mukherjee. There are very few women, who don't adore his designs and hope to wear his designs once in their life. And not only that, recently, the grooms are also opting for the wedding couture from the shelves of the ace designer. This is when we came across a gorgeous bride and a handsome groom who had opted for their dream designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee's attires, respectively for their wedding.

The Bride of the week, Nikitha Reddy, had opted for a heavily embellished pink lehenga and her groom, Ashwin Shanker, had donned a bandhgala suit from Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s collection for their wedding in California, USA.
Nikitha had paired the lehenga with heavily embellished choli. The overall ensemble had included intricate gold embroidery all over it with bead and stonework. Her choli with the princess cut neckline had added more charm to her look. She had also attached a double dupatta with her lehenga choli. She had pinned one of her dupatta, embellished with buti work and adorned with a broad border, on her shoulder and another one, as a long veil, on her head.

Nikitha’s bridal jewellery was also from the collection of Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Her accessories had included a statement neckpiece made with uncut diamonds and beads, matching earrings, a maang teeka, and pink-golden bangles.

Looking at the current trends, we can say that the mantra, ‘less is more', had been followed by the bride who had opted for minimal makeup and had looked super gorgeous. She had completed her look with defined eyebrows, glittery golden eyeshadow, thin eyeliner strokes, red lipstick, and full traditional mehendi.
Nikitha’s groom, Ashwin Shanker, had paired his wedding ensemble with a matching stole and churidaar. He had accentuated his look with a pearl Rajputana necklace and a matching green turban.
The bride and groom’s choice of their wedding ensemble, paired with exquisite jewellery from the shelves of the ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, had won our hearts. What about you? Let us know.
