Soon after Tiger Shroff shared the poster for the film, a post surfaced on the discussion platform, Reddit and questioned how many more Animal hangovers would be there. It appears that netizens have noticed a similar pattern between Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 4 and Kartik Aryan's upcoming untitled Aashiqui sequel. A user expressed their dismay and stated:

"Whether it’s Kartik in Basu’s next or Tiger in Baaghi 4 what’s with the Animal hangover? Seriously, these guys can’t act and they think growing a beard and growling is going to do the trick? This is the problem with Bollywood, no originality - one thing clicks and everyone steals the same formula."

Now, as the actor works on its fourth instalment, he shared that he hoped that his fans would accept this side of him as well. He stated:
