For the unversed, Kayla and Travis dated for five years from 2017 to 2022. The duo's relationship began with Insta exchanges first, and eventually, they started dating. Throughout their relationship, reports about their break-up and patch-up continued to go on.

In 2020, reports claimed that Travis had chatted with Kayla, which he later denied directly, and got back together with the sports journalist. Later, in 2022, the duo had a mutual breakup. While the actual reason for the breakup was not known, reports claimed that Travis didn't want Kayla to bear half of the expenses of their living. Well, it was never confirmed, but in an interview, Kayla mentioned bearing the expenses for their pet child, which Travis later criticised.

The source mentioned that Joe hopes Taylor is in a good place in her life, but he thinks there's no need for contact, as he believes Taylor wouldn't want the same. The source said:

"He has not reached out, nor will he. He genuinely hopes she is in a good place and doing well. She wouldn’t want to hear from him anyway."
