Well, amid heavy trolling, Udit, yet again, talked about the same topic of being criticised for kissing a female fan on her lips. He said that he's not at all apologetic or embarrassed.

Udit Narayan recently sat for an interview with ETimes, wherein he was asked about being heavily criticised for the clip showing him kissing a female fan on her lips, who reportedly is 21-year-old. Talking about the same, Udit said that he had never done anything to shame himself, his family, or the country ever, thus there's no point in him doing something to bring him shame after achieving so much in his career. The singer also added that the bond he shares with his fans is deep, pure, and unbreakable, and thus, whatever was shown in the video was simply the manifestation of love. Udit can be quoted as saying:

"Then why would I do something now, after achieving so much in my career? People travel from all over the world to attend my concerts, and tickets sell out months in advance. The bond I have with my fans is pure, unbreakable, and deep. What you saw in that video was simply a manifestation of that love.”

When Udit Narayan was asked if he felt embarrassed or ashamed for the video going viral, causing him massive trolling, the singer gave a negative response. Udit further added that there's no such regret in him, as he has simply nothing to do if someone wants to see the form of affection in a dirty way. He also added that he wanted to thank those who made this clip viral, as it brought him a whole lot of fame as well. In Udit Narayan's words:

"Why should I be? Do you hear any regret in my voice? I am laughing as I talk to you. There’s nothing sleazy or secretive about it. It’s out in the public domain. If some people want to see something dirty in an act of pure affection, then I feel sorry for them."

With a message for the mischief-mongers, Udit Narayan concluded:

"Why did this video suddenly appear, months after the concert in either the US or Canada? To those who are trying to bring me down, the harder you push, the higher I will rise.”
