Veer Pahariya Expresses Shock Over Pranit More Incident, Denies Links, Says, 'I Will Personally...'

Veer Pahariya has been riding high with the success of his film, Sky Force, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan. However, the critical acclaim didn't stop the audience from criticising the actor. While Veer has been a good sport and has been taking the criticism on a positive note, an unfortunate incident had the actor feeling shocked. 

Veer Pahariya shows his support to comedian, Pranit More after he got assaulted

Veer Pahariya took to his Instagram story on the eve of February 4, 2025, and expressed his shock about the assault of comedian, Pranit More. The actor showed his support for the comedian and also offered clarification regarding the incident. He shared that he was shocked and upset by the occurrence. For the unversed, Pranit was assaulted by a group of men after he made a joke about the Sky Force actor. 

However, Veer clarified that he had no involvement in it and strongly condemned all forms of violence. He still apologised to Pranit and his fans and shared that no one deserved this. He assured everyone that he would personally make sure that the people behind this were punished. He concluded the post by once again sharing how disheartened he was about the incident. He also offered his support to Pranit in this tough time and stated: 

"I am truly shocked and saddened by what happened to Comedian Pranit More. I want to make it absolutely clear-I had no involvement in this, and I strongly condemn any form of violence. As someone who has always taken trolling in stride, laughed along with it, and shown love even to my critics, I would never encourage or support harm towards anyone, let alone someone from the same creative fraternity. To Pranit and his fans-I am deeply sorry that this happened. No one deserves this. I will personally ensure that whoever was responsible is held accountable. My sincerest apologies again. @rj_pranit"

Comedian, Pranit More's team issued a statement sharing about the assault

Pranit More's team took to the comedian's Instagram handle and shared a long post explaining what had occurred. The long note revealed that the comedian was performing a stand-up show on February 2, 2025, in Solapur, after which he stayed back to meet with his fans as usual. However, once the crowd cleared, a group of 11-12 men approached him and brutally attacked him, leaving the comedian injured. The leader of this attack was identified as Tanveer Shaikh. Elaborating further on the incident, the post read:

"The leader of this attack was Tanveer Shaikh, and his gang made it clear why they were doing this they wanted to silence Pranit for making jokes about Bollywood debutant Veer Pahariya. One of them even threatened, 'Agli Baar Veer Pahariya baba pe joke maarke dikha!'- a clear warning that worse consequences would follow if he dared to joke about him again."

Comedian, Pranit More's team revealed that the venue had no security and the police didn't help them either

The post further revealed that the venue had no security, and despite many requests, the comedian, Pranit's team was not given access to the CCTV footage. They claim that they reached out to the police for help, but they left them hanging as well. They questioned whether a comedian could be hurt like this over a joke and what that would say about their basic safety. They stated:

"We have lodged an online complaint from Mumbai. We sincerely urge the authorities to take immediate action and thoroughly investigate this matter so that such incidents do not happen again."
