For the uninitiated, Smruti Shinde is the daughter of former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Sushil Kumar Shinde. She got married to an established businessman named Sanjay Pahariya back in 1993. The ex-couple soon welcomed two sons, Shikhar and Veer Pahariya, into their lives. However, after some years of marriage, differences started popping into their happy married life. Unfortunately, Sanjay and Smruti started living separately in 2005. The couple filed for divorce in 2007 and moved on in their respective journeys.

After her divorce from Sanjay Pahariya, Smruti Shinde raised their sons, Veer and Shikhar Pahariya. According to reports, Sanjay and Smruti maintained a friendly bond after their divorce. Regarding her professional background, Smruti is an established film producer in the Indian television industry. So far in her career, Smruti has produced several shows, including Kunya Rajachi Ga Tu Rani, Kashibai Bajirao Ballal, Ek Mahanayak – Dr B R Ambedkar, Rajaa Betaa, and Tujhyat Jeev Rangala.

According to some unconfirmed sources, Veer and Shikhar Pahariya's mother, Smruti Shinde, completed her schooling from Mumbai's prestigious Bombay Scottish School. For graduation, the ace producer took admission to the Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics. However, what's interesting is that Smruti also serves as the director of multiple companies apart from Sobo Films. The list of companies where Smruti works as a director, includes Balanath Infraprojects, S&C Animation, Sobo Films Holding, Learntalent Consulting, Silver Streaks Films Company, and Vesh Labs.
