Veer Sharma's Father Breaks Down Recalling Their Children's Last Moments, 'One Of Them Was Still...'

The tragic accident on September 28, 2025, in Kota, which claimed the lives of child actor Veer Sharma and his elder brother, Shaurya Sharma, came as a shock to many. Both the kids were sleeping in their room when a fire broke out and the smoke filled their flat, claiming the lives of both the kids. The tragedy left Veer and Shaurya’s parents shell-shocked.

Veer Sharma and Shaurya Sharma’s mother, Rita Sharma, spoke about the tragedy

The tragedy has devastated Veer and Shaurya’s parents to the core. Speaking to CNN-News18 Showsha, their mother, Rita Sharma, who is also an actress, spoke about her loss and burst out crying. She said:

“Abhi to bas baithe hue hai hum sab. Kuch samajh nahin aa raha hain kya kare. Bas lagta hai dono abhi daudte hue aa jayenge… par ghar bilkul suna ho gaya hai."

Veer Sharma’s father recalled what exactly happened during the tragic fire accident

Veer Sharma’s father spoke about the accident and recounted what exactly happened that killed both his children. Veer and Shaurya’s father, Jitendra Sharma, recounted the day and revealed that he went to a nearby place when the short circuit happened. It was one of the neighbours who informed him about the smoke emitting out of his home, which alerted Jitendra.

He then rushed towards his home and broke open the door, which was filled with smoke. In his words:

“Day before yesterday at night, there was an electrical short circuit in our house due to which a lot of fume was generated in the house. My kids were both sleeping in the house. I was nearby only at a jagrata function. Someone told me there’s smoke coming from my house so I rushed back. I broke opened the door and went inside. It was a pathetic situation. There was smoke everywhere, I couldn’t even see anything so I hurriedly opened the windows.”

Veer Sharma’s father revealed the final moments of their children

Speaking further about the incident, Veer and Shaurya’s father revealed that one of his children was conscious while he was rushing them to the hospital. Revealing what led to the kids’ death, he shared:

“Then I rushed both my sons to the hospital lekin dono baccho ki dum ghutne se maut ho gayi. One of them was still conscious while we were heading to the hospital but he had inhaled a lot of carbon monoxide. Doctors kuch kar nahin paye. Humare dono bachche marr gaye. Ek pal ke liye laga main bacha loonga, par bas dekhte hi reh gaya.”

Veer and Shaurya’s mortal remains were handed over to the family. According to the latest reports, the family has donated both of their children’s eyes. The devastating incident has left Veer’s fans and his colleagues numb.
