Vijay Deverakonda Admits Being In A Relationship, Reveals Dating Co-Star, 'Build Friendship First..'

Rumours of actor, Vijay Deverakonda and actress, Rashmika Mandanna dating have been floating around for years. However, neither Vijay nor Rashmika has officially confirmed the gossip. Well, in a recent interview, Vijay opened up about his perspective on love, relationships, and marriage. Not only that, he revealed that he had previously dated a co-star and confirmed being in a relationship at present. 

Vijay Deverakonda says he doesn't believe in 'unconditional love', shares thoughts on marriage

Vijay Deverakonda recently sat down for a conversation with Curly Tales, during which he opened up about his thoughts on love. The actor confessed that he didn't believe in the concept of 'unconditional love' as his love always came with expectations. Vijay said:

"I know what it feels like to be loved, and I know what it is to love. I don't know unconditional love because my love comes with expectations, so clearly my love isn't unconditional. I feel everything is over-romanticised. I don't even know if it's okay to expect unconditional love."

During the same conversation, Vijay Deverakonda also expressed his thoughts on marriage, stating that it could be more challenging for women. He further elaborated:

"Marriage doesn't have to come in between someone's career. Marriage is harder on women. It also depends on the profession you are in."

Vijay Deverakonda says he likes to build a strong friendship first rather than go out on dates

Vijay Deverakonda also firmly stated his belief in cultivating a strong friendship before taking the next step of going out on dates. Revealing that he would only go out on a date after a long time, Vijay said:

"I don't go out on dates. I go out only after a long time of knowing someone, after building a friendship."

While speaking with Curly Tales, Vijay Deverakonda was asked about his present and past relationships. Interestingly, the actor admitted to dating a co-star in the past. However, he dropped a bombshell when he confessed that he was in a relationship at the moment! Yes, Vijay revealed his relationship status with a joke when he said, "I am 35 years old; you think I will be single?" Vijay did not reveal the name of the lucky lady dating him. However, as always, the new information had rumours swirling about the mystery woman being Rashmika Mandanna.
