Vikrant Massey has been grabbing the headlines since the time he dropped a note on his IG handle announcing his break. Vikrant recently clarified that he didn't retire but had taken a break. In his post, Vikrant showed the reason for his decision to recalibrate and to be with his family as a son, husband, and father. Despite being an actress herself and an actor's wife, Sheetal likes to keep her life low-key. For the unversed, Sheetal Thakur belongs to a Hindu Rajput family, and she grew up in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. The actress bagged her graduation degree from the University of Delhi. During her college days, Sheetal took part in Femina Miss Himachal Pradesh and bagged the title, Miss Beautiful Smile. This is what sparked an interest in Sheetal for modelling.
Sheetal Thakur began her career as an actress in 2016, when she appeared in the Punjabi film, Bambukat. Her skills in the movie were so prominent that she even was nominated for the Filmfare Awards Punjabi Best Supporting Actress. In the next year, 2017, Sheetal starred opposite Vinay Pathak, in the short film, Dark Brew. Sheetal stepped into Bollywood in the next year, 2018, with a film, Brij Mohan Amar Rahe, which was released on the OTT giant, Netflix.
It was the same year when she appeared in ALTT's Broken But Beautiful alongside Vikrant Massey. Sheetal also starred in the second season of this series. Apart from that, Sheetal Thakur was seen in Chappad Phaad Ke, Upstarts, Fuh se Fantasy, and Shukranu. Her last work was in 2021, when she was seen alongside Karan Kundrra in the movie, Dilphire.
Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur first met on the sets of Broken But Beautiful back in 2015 before starring together in the series. The duo reportedly fell in love with each other while shooting for the series. In 2019, they took one step forward and got engaged. The couple was in a live-in relationship for eight years before tying the knot in 2022. In a conversation with YouTuber AminJaz, Vikrant stated that it was his mom who suggested them to move in together.

It was on February 7, 2024, when the couple welcomed their little prince into their lives, whom they cutely named, Vardaan.

Vikrant revealed that Sheetal told him that she watched him on screens for the kind of work he does, and thus, he should just focus on his work. Vikrant could be quoted as saying:
"When my wife saw me ‘pretending’, or how obnoxious I was on those red carpets, she immediately pulled me up and said, ‘You’re making a fool of yourself. If you continue doing this, I would not want to watch you. I watch you for the work you do, why don’t you focus on your work?’ She’s my mirror, she’s my reality… So is my mother.”
It was on Karwa Chauth 2024 when Vikrant Massey took to his IG handle and shared a series of photos, wherein his wife could be seen touching his feet to take blessings. Vikrant, being the green flag he is, also touched his wife's feet, and the same incident came with a whole lot of flak for the actor. Talking about the same, in an interview with The Lallantop, Vikrant shared that he has no idea why people abused him, and how that photo had become the topic of discussion. Vikrant called his wife 'Lakshmi' and added that his life changed for the better ever since she entered his life, and thus, he continues to touch her feet. Vikrant said:
"She is the Lakshmi of my home, and I don’t think it’s wrong to touch Lakshmi’s feet. I proudly say that she came into my life 10 years ago and changed it for the better. Ever since she entered my life, only good things have happened, and to keep it that way, I continue to touch her feet."
