Meet Shah was born in Nimbahera, Rajasthan, and Jinal belonged to a Gujarati Jain family. Meet and his family is settled in Surat, Gujarat. He and Jinal went to the same school and were classmates. Though they shared the same bench, it was never love at first sight for them. From classmates, Meet and Jinal became best of friends.

After their graduation, Meet and Jinal went to different ways, but their friendship stayed strong. Post their college, Meet and Jinal’s friendship took a turn and evolved into something deeper. Jinal didn’t want to confess her feelings, thinking that it would ruin her friendship with Meet. Eventually, it was Jinal who proposed Meet and since then, everything changed.

Meet never wanted to go for a love marriage

Speaking to Culture Gully, Meet revealed that he was certain that he didn’t want to go for a love marriage and would tell his friends the same. But things were different with Jinal as he couldn’t stop falling for her. Everything she did made him happy, and soon, she became an integral part of his life. She was the first person he would call in joy and sorrow. Speaking about the same, Meet said:

“I didn't know what love was, but the more I got to know her, the more I fell in love. She became my everything in life, the one I turn to for everything that happens in life.”

Meet and Jinal embraced each other’s culture

He is a Marwari, and she is a Gujarati, but as they say, love has no boundaries. Meet and Jinal proved the same by embracing each other’s cultures. Their family approved of their relationship, and the two developed their relationship in a multicultural environment. Jinal accepted Meet’s Marwari culture while he celebrated her Gujarati traditions.
