After It Ends With Us, another popular Coleen Hoover novel is set to grace the big screen. The film adaptation is based on the bestselling book of the same name, promising to bring an emotional story and its much-loved characters to life. Since its release in 2022, the novel has sold millions of copies worldwide, earning praise for its story of guilt, forgiveness, and second chances. Subsequently, the upcoming version is set to deliver the same narrative to audiences about a woman trying to rebuild her life after spending years in prison.

When and where can I watch Reminders of Him? 

The highly anticipated film, Reminders of Him, is set to release in theaters on March 13, 2026. According to Deadline, Universal Pictures had bought the rights to the bestselling novel in 2024. Consequently, the production house will distribute the project. Initially, the film will be available exclusively in theaters before it moves to streaming platforms. Like other Universal Pictures releases, the movie will be available to stream, but the exact platform has not been confirmed.

Meanwhile, production on the film began in April 2025 and wrapped up within two months in June 2025. It was shot across Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and directed by Vanessa Caswill, who previously helmed the romantic drama, Love at First Sight. Sharing her delight at the adaptation of her novel, Reminders of Him, Colleen Hoover said:

"I am thrilled to be working with Universal to bring Kenna Rowan's world to life. I hear from many readers who tell me they found something of themselves in her story of living with and through tragedy and doing the often messy and imperfect work of healing and turning the page to a fresh chapter in life."

What is Reminders of Him about? 

For those unaware, Reminders of Him is based on the emotional journey of 'Kenna Rowan', a woman who returns to her hometown after serving a five-year prison sentence. Following her return, she intends to reconnect with her 4-year-old daughter and rebuild her life in a community where most people are not supportive of her owing to her past. Therefore, the journey of rebuilding her life is equally challenging for 'Kenna,' who is judged by everyone. According to the same news outlet, Colleen Hoover admitted she was excited about the idea of bringing the story to life, since she believes many viewers might find their journey to move forward after tragedy, as in 'Kenna', relatable. 

Who is a part of the Reminders of Him's cast? 

Reminders of Him stars Maika Monroe as 'Kenna Rowan', known for her roles in Watcher and Longlegs. On the other hand, Tyriq Withers plays the role of 'Ledger Ward', a bar owner who plays a significant role in 'Kenna's journey. At the same time, Rudy Pankow plays the role of 'Scotty Landry', Kenna's last boyfriend seen in flashback scenes. Moreover, the film stars Lauren Graham, Bradley Whitford, Nicholas Duvernay, and Lainey Wilson in supporting roles. Sharing his views on being a part of the film, Tyriq wrote on Instagram:
