Who Is Flora Saini, 'BB Telugu 9' Evicted Contestant? Faced Domestic Violence By Ex, Gaurang Doshi

She received the fewest votes in the Bigg Boss house because she failed to make an impact on the minds and hearts of the audience. She was voted the least important contestant, and it was clear that it didn't matter to her, as she didn't add much value to the game. However, Flora, who is also known as Asha Saini, got a lot of attention as she has been vocal about facing domestic abuse by producer, Gaurang Doshi.

For the unversed, Flora's lovey-dovey relationship with Gaurang turned into horror when she accused her then live-in partner of domestic violence when the #MeToo movement took place back in 2018. She, in an interview with News 18, had spoken about the horrific experience and compared it with the Shraddha Walker case, whose end was met because of her boyfriend.

Flora Saini claimed to be cut off from her family by Gaurang Doshi and had a fractured jaw because of being beaten

Flora was in her 20s, according to a NDTV report, when she fell in love with Gaurang. He appeared to be charming, caring, and respectful, and Flora, in love, decided to move in with him. She had to cut off all ties with her family because they were not supportive of the relationship at all. Flora shared that even in Shraddha's case, she was cut off from the family. Flora moved in with Gaurang, and within a week, she alleged he beat her so badly that she ended up having a fractured jaw. In her words:

"I also left my home, and within a week of moving in with him, I was being bashed up. I couldn't understand why he was beating me suddenly because, in my eyes, he was a really nice guy. One night, he'd beaten me so badly that I had a fractured jaw."

In that heat of the moment, Flora remembered the words of her mother who had told her that if such a moment comes, then one should save a life. She did not care about the clothes she wore or whether she had money. Flora just ran back to her home. The actress shared that she went to the police station and then filed a complaint. She alleged that it was refused, and the cops were speaking to her ex-boyfriend. They told them that Flora had come to file a complaint, and then the actress had to file a handwritten complaint.

Flora was in a relationship with Gaurang Doshi for 14 months

Flora's relationship with Gaurang had become the most horrific bond of her life. The actress on her work front back then was doing well, and she alleged that Gaurang had also hit her on her private pa***. Gaurang acted all sweet at the start of the relationship. For the unversed, the actress made her acting debut with Prema Kosam, which was a Telugu film back in 1999.

The producer of Flora's Telugu debut movie, Prema Kosam, changed her name without the actress's knowledge, based on astrology. Her debut film did not perform well, but she gained significant fame from her 2000 movie, Chala Bagundi, where she made a special appearance in the South Indian film industry. For the unversed, the actress has done more than 150 movies in her career and has been a famous face in the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi movie domains.

It was in the 2000s when Flora became famous and became a second lead heroine in the Telugu movie domain.
