When Drew Barrymore was hosting Saturday Night Live with Jimmy Fallon in 2004, Nancy stopped by and introduced herself to him. Nancy and Jimmy met again when he starred in Fever Pitch, produced by Nancy’s production house. However, it was Jimmy’s love and attachment to another producer’s kids, which made Nancy fall in love with him.
When Jimmy went on to promote his film with Nancy, he realised how much he loved her company. In 2007, he proposed to Nancy at her family home in New Hampshire and within three weeks, the couple decided to get married at billionaire, Richard Branson’s private island. It was an intimate affair and was attended by only 12 people.
Jimmy and Nancy are proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Winnie Rose and Frances Cole, whom they welcomed via surrogacy. The couple struggled to conceive and also discussed the same during the show, Ask the Fallons. The couple tried everything, but nothing worked in their favour. Talking about the same, Nancy shared:
“I think if anyone's out there having the dream, do not give up. Because I realized, too, that unlike even becoming a multibillionaire, you can stumble upon a lottery ticket and win it and win the lottery — but you will not ever stumble upon a child that you can love and have as your family. So, don't give up.”
Nancy has been with Jimmy through thick and thin. During the COVID-19 pandemic, while the schools were shut, Nancy started a pod school. Nancy turned their home into a school for their daughters and their friends. She arranged teachers, the principal and a curriculum from the school so that the kids do not miss out on their studies.
Not just this, Nancy also turned producer for her husband, Jimmy’s show, The Tonight Show. During the peak of COVID, she turned the hit TV show into an ‘At Home’ format. Heaping praises on his wife for her support, Jimmy told People:
“My wife is the brains behind this whole thing. She's the production scout, the producer, the lighting person, the editor, the director. I could not do any of this without my wife. She is everything."
Jimmy Fallon’s wife, Nancy Juvonen, has been his pillar of strength, who has been with him through all the highs and lows of his life.
