Who is Malti Chahar?

Malti Chahar was born on November 15, 1990, in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, to Lokendra Singh Chahar and Pushpa Chahar. She completed her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Agra. Malti comes from a family with a strong sports background, as both her brother, Deepak Chahar and cousin, Rahul Chahar, are associated with the game of cricket. She graduated as a software engineer from the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow. She made her acting debut with the short film, Manicure in 2017. Besides being an actress, she is also a model, content creator, and filmmaker.

Malti is widely known as the sister of Indian cricketer, Deepak Chahar. She gained recognition for the first time when she entered beauty pageants. In 2009, she won the title of Miss India Earth. She also won the title of Miss Photogenic at Femina Miss India Delhi 2014 and made it to the finals of Femina Miss India 2014. However, it was her dance moves with brother, Deepak, and retired cricketer, DJ Bravo, on the hit song, Run D World, sung by DJ Bravo and Jojo, that made her a social media sensation.

Malti has also been featured in numerous TV commercials. In 2018, she garnered a lot of limelight, when she was seen cheering for her favourite team in IPL, Chennai Super Kings (CSK). She also clicked a selfie with the 'Captain Cool' and proudly flaunted it on social media. She shared screen space with superstar, Mithun Chakraborty and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the film, Genius, directed by Anil Sharma. In 2022, she acted in the romantic film, Ishq Pashmina, directed by Arvind Pandey. She has written and directed the short film, 7 Phere: A Dream Housewife.
