Chelsea's midfield maestro, Moises Caicedo, once again lit up Stamford Bridge after he scored a sensational goal. The high-stakes moment had sent his fans roaring in delight. The Ecuadorian star, who is one of the most-talked-about midfielders in the Premier League at the moment, is not just making headlines for his powerful performances but also for his personal life, particularly due to his relationship with his long-time girlfriend, Paola Salazar, who has been by his side through every thick and thin.
Paola Salazar, 23, is a model and social media influencer from Santo Domingo, Ecuador. She is renowned for her charm and rose to fame after being crowned Queen of the Carnival of the Americas in Ecuador's Los Ríos province. Paola, who has more than 114,000 Instagram followers, often shares an insider glimpse from her stylish yet simple life with Moises and their little one, Zoe.
Despite being the partner of one of Britain's most expensive footballers, Paola has kept a low public profile in the UK. She is often seen supporting Moises Caicedo quietly from the stands and occasionally shares inside glimpses of their life together. According to The Sun, Paola is often spotted at Chelsea matches as Moises continues to make his mark in the Premier League.
Moises Caicedo and Paola Salazar's love story seems straight out of a movie. They met in 2017 when Moises was still a young player struggling to find his footing at Independiente del Valle in Ecuador. Despite the financial challenges and career obstacles, Paola stood by him throughout. When Moises made his big move to Brighton & Hove Albion in 2022, he had left his life in Ecuador to join the UK. Since then, their relationship has only become stronger. The duo welcomed their first child, a daughter, Zoe, in 2024. Sharing the good news on Instagram, Moises penned:
"Welcome, my princess, my greatest motivation. Thank you to my life partner, Paola, for giving me this perfect gift."
Moises Caicedo was born on November 2, 2001, in Santo Domingo, Ecuador. He grew up as the youngest of ten siblings and began his football journey on the dusty fields of his hometown, where he was nicknamed 'Nino Moi' by his teammates. After guidance from the local coach, Ivqn Guerra, who provided him with significant training and equipment, Moises rose through the ranks. After his success at Brighton, he earned a record-breaking 115 million transfer to Chelsea in 2023. It made him one of Britain's most expensive footballers.
