Manjeet was asked about her professional life, and in her pursuit to keep things straight and clear from the beginning, she said, "I would leave your son but not my job."

The way Manjeet Lamba presented her decision to work even after marriage was slightly uncomfortable for Rajkumar Hirani's father, but he didn't react to it. Meanwhile, Rajkumar Hirani said, 'Okay' in a calm manner that convinced Manjeet of the marriage. Talking about Manjeet's job profile, she worked as a pilot for 24 years, before bidding farewell to the airlines. Despite being in completely different professions, Rajkumar Hirani and Manjeet always prioritised their marriage above everything else. Rajkumar Hirani and Manjeet Lamba Hirani are blessed with a son named Vir Hirani. The youngster is a Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) graduate. Since his college days, he has been directing short films. He also worked as a cinematographer for the popular short film, Superman Pagdi Nahin Pehenta Kya? According to IMDb, Vir has worked in short films like Yoon Hota Toh, The Doctor Will See You Now, Apna Apna Andaz, and Doosri Kaksha.

Vir Hirani caught everyone's attention when he made his debut in Feroz Abbas Khan's stage play, Letters of Suresh. The play included a 35-minute monologue straight, which Vir Hirani performed, and he left everyone impressed with his acting skills. According to multiple reports, Vir has replaced Vikrant Massey in his father, Rajkumar Hirani's debut web series, Pritam Pedro. As per reports, Vikrant backed out of the project due to a lack of dates, after which Vir was chosen for the role. Not only this, Arshad Warsi is also reportedly going to be seen in Raju Hirani's OTT show. There will be a lot of weight on Vir Hirani's shoulders as he is the son of one of India's top directors, Rajkumar Hirani.
