For years, there have been reports that Shah Rukh Khan slapped Yo Yo Honey Singh during their tour in Chicago, US, after their song, Lungi Dance from Chennai Express, went viral. However, when it was reported that Honey Singh didn't perform in Chicago, reports were rife that the rapper fought with Shah Rukh Khan. Not only this, there were also speculations that the Bollywood superstar even slapped Honey Singh. In his documentary, Honey Singh finally revealed everything that had happened to him in Chicago, ending all the speculations.
Yo Yo Honey Singh revealed that the first time he experienced the symptoms of bipolar disorder was when he was in Chicago. The rapper didn't want to perform that evening, but his team forced him to do so. When he couldn't convince his team, he shaved his head. But even then, Honey Singh's team was telling him to perform with a cap on his head. It was at that moment when Honey Singh couldn't take it and smashed his head with a coffee mug, and it caused him an injury. He said:

"When they took me (Honey Singh) to Chicago for the show, I said, 'I don't want to perform'. Everyone told me that I should get ready, but I refused. My managers came over, and they said, 'Why aren't you getting ready?' I said, 'I'm not going'. I went to the washroom, took a trimmer, and I shaved my hair off."
The rapper admitted that he was feeling like he was going to die while performing on the stage, which was why he was adamant not to perform that day. Not only this, Honey Singh also added that Shah Rukh Khan loves him so much that he will never raise his hands on him. Returning to the incident, Honey Singh shared that when he and his team informed his sister, Sneha Singh, she was convinced that something was extremely wrong with her brother. Recalling the same, he said:
"I said, 'How will I perform now?' They said, 'Wear a cap and perform'." Honey grabbed on to his chair, and refused to budge. He started yelling that he doesn't want to perform. "There was a coffee mug lying there. I picked it up and smashed it on my head. I was sure that I was going to die during that show. Someone started the rumour that Shah Rukh Khan slapped me. That man loves me, he'll never raise his hand on me."
Another confession in Yo Yo Honey Singh's documentary that is receiving a lot of attention is the time when he was battling with bipolar disorder. The rapper revealed that his mind had gone out of control and that he saw dreams with open eyes. It was a traumatic time for the rapper, who was even scared of his maid. Honey Singh further added that he was convinced that he would never be able to see his parents again and started wishing for death. Sharing details of that heartwrenching phase, he said:
"What happens then is that your mind goes out of control. You start seeing dreams while you're awake. I would get scared even when my maid used to come thinking she'd be laughing at me, she was wiping blood off the floor, etc. It was a weird feeling. I thought I'd never be able to meet my parents again. I saw hell. I wished for death every day."
In his documentary, Yo Yo Honey Singh Famous, the rapper's sister, Sneha Singh, talked about her brother's ex-wife, Shalini Singh. The doting sister shared that when her brother refused to perform during his tour in the United States, it was his wife, Shalini, who was also forcing her to perform. Sneha even stated that Shalini told her to convince Honey Singh to perform, but the doting sister refused.
After some time, Sneha Singh was informed that Honey Singh had suffered an injury on his head and was admitted to the hospital. It was difficult for Sneha because she was in India and could not be in direct contact with Honey Singh. As a result, when her then-bhabhi, Shalini Singh, told her that Honey had to perform, she was devastated because Honey had pleaded with her to 'save his life'. Recalling the heartbreaking incident, Sneha said:
"I (Sneha Singh) was in my room. He messaged that something is not right with me. He said can you come on Skype. And then he said, 'Mujhe please bacha lo, gudiya mujhe please bacha le '. And then he disconnected. I was trying to reach out to Shalini. She said, 'He has to do this show. You convince him to do this show'. I said I can't. He told me that he isn't feeling okay and that something bad is happening. For three hours, there was no contact with them. Three hours later, I'm told that he's in the hospital with stitches in his head."
