Yuvraj Singh's Father Claims Ex-Wife Abandoned Him, 'Couldn't Cook... Was Ready To Serve Baba..'

Former Indian cricketer and actor, Yograj Singh, is known for his blunt remarks and sharp words. He never shies away from calling a spade a spade. While it has often left him in trouble, he never apologised for his thoughts. However, over the years, Yograj has toned himself down, but one thing that still hurts him is the matter of his ex-wife and son. Recently, Yograj Singh claimed that his wife and son abandoned him. 

Yograj Singh opened up about his ex-wife and son, Yuvraj, walking out of his home

Yuvraj Singh's father, Yograj revealed that the most painful chapter of his life was the day when his son, Yuvraj Singh and his ex-wife walked out of his home and never returned. In an interview with Untold Punjab, Yograj revealed that it left him shattered. He admitted that he has made many mistakes, but he has suffered his entire life. However, the day Yuvraj and his mother left, his life turned upside down. He said:

"I am a sinner; I have made many mistakes in my life. I have been suffering all my life, but the day Yuvi and his mother left, my life turned on its head. But it was destined to happen. I feel that I was trained by God."

Recalling his time after he was abandoned, Yograj revealed that he lived a life of poverty with days he had no food. He revealed that he had nowhere to go and nobody cared about him. Everyone turned their back on him. He even went on to reveal that he only had Rs. 5 in his pocket when he was offered Bhaag Milkha Bhaag for Rs. 5 lakh. He was quoted as saying:

"There were days when I had no food, it was raining, I had nowhere to go. Nobody was bothered about me; everybody had turned their back on me. People thought I wouldn’t survive. I didn’t have Rs 5 in my pocket when I was offered Rs 5 lakh for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag."

Yograj Singh was questioned about why he objected to his ex-wife following the preaching of the Hansali Wale Baba. He said that there is nothing greater than the Guru Granth Sahib. He added that he doesn't trust any of the spiritual gurus. He further stated that the wife cannot press her husband's legs and can't cook him food, but is happy to serve the baba. He revealed:

"There is nothing greater than the Guru Granth Sahib… I don’t trust any of these so-called leaders. Perhaps some of them are genuine, but I don’t know. I feel, ‘You couldn’t press your husband’s legs, you couldn’t cook him food, but you were very happy to make food for the Baba’. This is a general statement, not just about my house."
