Yuzi Chahal Shares Cryptic Note On Self Worth Amid Divorce Buzz With Dhanashree, 'Your Value..'

Indian spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma have been in the news for a while now. The cricketer and the choreographer turned dentist reportedly have reached a divorce settlement. Amid the personal life turmoil of the duo, Yuzi, a while back, shared a cryptic note on understanding one's value and self worth on his latest Instagram story.

Yuzvendra Chahal's note on self worth

There were recent reports that Yuzi and Dhanashree had appeared before Bandra court in Mumbai to finalise proceedings related to their divorce. They also had a 45-minute counselling session, but the judge was told that the duo wanted to separate mutually. Now, amid their ongoing divorce proceedings, Yuzi shared an Instagram story on self-worth that read:

"Your value doesn't decrease based on someone's inability to see your worth- Ratan Tata".

It looked like Yuzi could relate to the words of wisdom shared by the late Ratan Tata. Yuzi and Dhanashree got married in December 2020, and within four years of their marriage, reportedly, issues cropped up, and the duo are sailing through choppy waters.

Yuzvendra Chahal's lawyer confirms divorce petition was filed by mutual consent

Yuzi's lawyer, Ntin K Gupta, had earlier confirmed to the Hindustan Times that the divorce petition of Dhanashrewe and Yuzi was filed after mutual consideration and that the case was taken ahead in the Bandra court, Mumbai. The matter, for the moment, has been under judicial consideration, and talking about the same would not be legal, said the lawyer. Nitin also shared that neither Chahal nor his family would comment on the personal matter and requested everyone not to speculate. In Nitin's words:

"Mr. Chahal reached a settlement for obtaining Divorce by Mutual Consent with Mrs. Verma. A Petition for Divorce by mutual consent was presented before the Hon'ble Family Court, Bandra. The matter is currently sub-judice. Further steps are being taken as per law in this regard. Mr Chahal and his family respectfully choose not to comment on the details circulating in media and request all to refrain from any kind of speculation."

On the sets of the popular dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 11, Dhanashree shared about how she met Yuzi during the lockdown. When the COVID-19-induced national lockdown was declared, cricket matches were not held, and cricketers were getting bored at home, apart from being frustrated. Yuzi wanted to learn dance from the choreographer and social media influencer during that time. In her words:

"During that time Yuzi decided one fine day that he wants to learn dance. He had seen my dance videos on social media and back in the day, I used to teach dance and he approached me to be my student. I agreed to teach him."

After being married for four years, Dhanashree and Yuzi had to bear the wrath of social media scrutiny. This was because reports of a rift between the duo arose when fans noticed they had unfollowed one another on social media, and Yuzi had also deleted all his pictures with Dhanashree from his social media feed.
