In a recent interview, the Indian cricketer addressed his dating buzz with RJ Mahvash and also revealed how she became his pillar of strength in his tough phase.

In a recent podcast with Raj Shamani, Yuzi broke his silence on the dating buzz involving him and RJ Mahvash. He clarified that nothing is brewing between him and Mahvash, as he needs time to move on from his previous relationship. Yuzi shared that currently, he needs time for himself. He also opened up about the viral picture of him and Mahvash from the final match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai. Shutting down the dating rumours, Yuzvendra said:

"No, there’s nothing. People can think whatever they want to think."

In the same interview, Yuzi shared that when people spotted him and Mahvash together for the first time, they immediately linked them up. Speculations began that he was in a relationship and had moved on with her after his divorce from his former wife, Dhanashree. People even called Mahvash a homewrecker, even after she clarified that nothing was between them. He also called Mahvash his pillar of strength during the tough phase, and when she was pulled into the divorce drama involving him and Dhanashree, it made him heartbroken. In his words:

"For the first time, when I was seen with someone, people started linking us right away. Even though she clarified it, it was very hard for her. She was called a homewrecker… people said really nasty things. I felt terrible… We could not step out together."

Further in the interview, Yuzvendra opened up about the viral moments involving Mahvash. He spoke about the Christmas 2024 viral photo featuring him and Mahvash. The Indian cricketer revealed that five people came together to dine on the special day, but the picture was cropped in a way that made it appear he and Mahvash had gone on a special date on Christmas. He recalled an incident when Mahvash and he were spotted together at a hotel. Yuzi shared that Mahvash only came to pick him up from the airport, but people started speaking ill about them. He was quoted as saying:

"There were five people at the dinner, but the photo was cropped to make it look like just the two of us were on a dinner date. People started saying all sorts of cheap things, like we were coming out of a hotel room. That really hurt me. It was very upsetting."
